errr, if i were you i wouldn’t throw lighters coz they are pressurized means that if the plastic structural integrity are weakened it might explode when u throw it :-s Happened to me once but it was an empty lighter and a 1meter drop. Hehe better safe than sorry, u would not want to have a ‘hot dog’ :p

I don’t think it’s good to let your dog play with lighters no matter how much they like them. They like alot of things but if they end up injure because you didn’t prevent them then you would feel really bad. I think cheedie would like tiny balls as well, you can throw them around and she would be just as crazy chasing them.

but try not to let your dog play with lighters~
to be honest, lighter is abit that dangerous and you would not know that your dog might suck in the gas realeased by the lighter~
you can get something light, like a fluffy stick(as a toy) for your dog, it will be much more better than lighter~
i am just suggesting cuz i have two dogs and i care about their healthy lifestyle.
once again lighters are really harmful~

Hi, I guess alot of ppl have already told you tt lighters are dangerous, but jst wna add on tht my friend got really sick cos she put her lighter into her cigg pack and the lighter fluid leaked into the smokes. (:

walao… so many lighters .. where you get it from le??? dun tell me you bought all those lighters just for cheddie to play with … or did you ask around .. after a while .. those lighters started to look like thumb drives to me O.o.. anyways like the others said, dun let her play with those.. and drop in comment, she’s the cutest maltese i ever seen!

cassie : even if lighter looks empty, there is still some gas in it.. so it can explode. or b’cos it’s pressurized..
i’m not too sure why, but it definitely can. have done it many times.. but maybe it was b’cos i threw it really hard.
still, better to be safe than sorry right?

Aside from the small possibility of explosion of inhalation of dangerous fumes, it might also be a choking hazard. Paranoid you say? Maybe… but why take the risk?

it’s not only dangerous, but when u throw so many lighters (in ur case, very much) to cheddie without giving her a treat, she might one day lose interest in fetch. That’s because ur not reinforcing her behaviour. She might go through what psychologist call ‘extinction’. Hehe, sorry..I’m studying psychology in college ;p

OMG the MALTESE dog is SOOO cute!!! *drools* I wish my pets are that smart. Sigh, rabbits are alittle slow, aren’t they? sniff.
