Maybe not to me but to many, Kelly Clarkson has been nothing but an inspiration of life. Her songs have definitely had some major influence on youngster all across the world.
However, it is said that the first American Idol has is not letting any of her songs be used by new contestants on the show. A spokesman for Clarkson insisted it’s nothing personal, but the stance prompted a public scolding from “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell.
Cowell said he hoped Clarkson would let her music be used on “American Idol.”
“No matter how talented Kelly Clarkson is, she would not be in the position she’s in now without winning this show,” he said.
“It’s the public who bothered to pick up the phone to vote for her,” he said. “If she refuses to give songs to be used on the show, it’s like saying to every person who voted for you, `you know what? Thank you. I’m not interested in you anymore.’”
Uh oh.
Kelly Clarkson may come across as ungrateful since AI was what made her what she is today. But after watching these videos in youtube, i sorta get why she wanted it that way!

This dude is seriously disgustingly hilarious. At the end there’s this Maltese which looks like an abandoned Cheddie! And he freaking threw it away. O.o
Some of them really go through lengths to attract attention. Bloody hell one of the dude in this video even copied the card board confession idea from Love Actually.
Anyway, if you are a huge Kelly Clarkson fan, you don’t even need to go through such torture an public humiliation, because Kelly Clarkson is having a concert in Barbados, an exotic island at the Caribbean Sea!

Well i am not really a big kelly clarkson fan…
but the music is ok
i still think it is pretty arogant of her to not let them use her music
perhaps she would have gotten big without it
but you cant ever be sure
you can only be sure that she did it in the end because of american idol
and now taking the chance of those young artists is kind of rude i think
of course i can understand that she does not like those parodies…
and i would be pretty pissed as well
but the people at american idol are not at fault at all are they?

Actually if I’m not mistaken, now she’s allowing them to use her songs already after Simon Cowell scolded her, haha. Mariah Carey also didn’t let them use her songs but that one I can understand – no one can sing Mariah like Mariah so they shouldn’t even bother trying I suppose. Then she consented, and they had Mariah Carey week last season and it was the most awful week ever, good grief.

I don’t know. I don’t find her very inspirational. Or anything much, really. Plainly speaking, I just don’t get her. AI boosted her, now she’s famous, and she refuses to let them use her songs because of parodies? Then people say she ungrateful then she say nono she very grateful just dont let them use her songs only mah.
.___. Gosh. I think I’ll go drown myself in some music made by people who’s not from AI for a little while then I’ll come back and tell you whether AI will make parodies out of her songs. -___-’
