For many years, far to many, I had similar thoughts.

Human relations are not simple. Every one wants to have friends, to be loved by someone.

The problem is when we are young, and even not so young, love is often confuse with lust, or just for the moment. We settle for Mr. or Ms. Rightnow rather than being patient and selective while looking for Mr. Right or Ms. Right.

I know, in my past I have been the toad so many women would despise, and for one wonderful women, I became her prince. Even that did not happen in a day, week or month.

I have been married for some years now. The growth together, struggels together, the great ups and great downs in relations, one finds all is part of growing.

Several factors make a lasting relationship. Real sincere love, (no lust here – no quickies), the slow growth of a real lastsing loving relationship flies in the face of TV series, movies and mini-dramas. Here is one case where life rarley mimics art.

but I think my main issue is that I’m just lazy to make any effort!! I used to make so much more effort but nowadays I just want to laze around at home!! Worse still, having an overseas bf makes me stay at home EVEN more.
