The Sloane Clinic
I know you all always ask me will i ever do cosmetic procedures to my face to improve how i look right?
The answer is yes of course if it is safe and not super painful!!!
Because being pretty and young makes you feel so much better and makes your life so much easier.
My girl friends and i spend so much time doing research and discussing what is good or what we can do to make ourselves even just 1% prettier. But neither me nor any of my friends have done cosmetic procedures in Malaysia before simply we because we didn’t trust any of the beauty salon here.
If i ever wanted to do anything that involves needle or more i’d choose Japan, or at least Singapore.
But i was very surprised to know that The Sloane Clinic is now open in Bangsar, KL! I have heard of it in Singapore before, a chain of aesthetic and plastic surgery clinic.
They recently invited me over for a beauty workshop that focuses on anti-aging (i think because they think i’m the suitable target age group ). But achieving aesthetic beauty is not only about treating the problem, it is about starting prevention early! You all should totally start anti-ageing prevention early in your 20s and prevent problems such as pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles from cropping up in the first place.
There are sooo many procedures you can do to to revive youth including mixto laser, botox, fillers, thermage, ulthera…
I bet most of you dunno leh!
Dr Low from Singapore who gave a really really eye-opening talk (quite literally HAHA).
I was supposed to go home, browse through the booklet and decide what i should do but i was all WHAT AM I WAITING FOR so on the very day i had a consultation with Dr Kee, the doctor in Bangsar branch about how i can look prettier wtf.
So Dr Kee looked at me left right center up down lol and then he was like, “your face is quite nice already” lolol. Actually quite true ah i’m pretty happy with my own face, i don’t think i need much work la especially now after invisalign with Orchard Scotts Dental i also have perfect teeth.
He asked me what am i not happy with my face, i told him my biggest problem is my dark eye circles.
Actually i think that’s the biggest woe of both me and Audrey. Our dark eye circles are so bad until the dark knight also cannot fight wtf. Also because we both have sinus problem so that makes it worse and harder to cure.
And i have also been researching what i can do to make it disappear OMG I WILL DO ANYTHING. It bothers the hell out of me and there’s no “dark eye circle” surgery one lo!!! I have tried some of the most expensive eye creams but i generally don’t really believe some cream can make your dark eyes go away.
Dr Kee also agrees that dark eye circles are something a bit trickier, and i might need several treatments for that. So he said today he can recommend me to do cheek filler, because my cheeks are a bit sunken and it makes me look tired la.
And i was like OKAY!
So then we did the filler on the spot!
And i’m going to show you!!!! Excited or not!!!
I was moved to a very comfortable room for numb cream application over my face to reduce injection pain.
And wait for 10 minutes for the cream to take effect.
Actually i’m not someone who is super scared of needles, but i was still quite jittery la after all it is a needle in your face!
I was given a breast implant to squeeze in case i feel nervous lol!!! Now i know how fake boobs feel like!
FILLER TIME!!!
During the injection the nurse used a vibrator near the cheek to reduce pain, or rather confuse the nerves so we don’t feel as much pain.
And to my surprise……
I’d say the pain is very , very bearable. Not even as painful as normal injection on your arm.
See i was so chill i was even in the mood to camwhore lolol!
The stain on my face is not bruise, they are marks that Dr Kee drew using a marker for the exact filler location.
After that he has to massage my cheeks to even out the filler.
This is immediately after the filler. There’s just a tiny red dot. (and also the markers are not wiped off yet).
And done!!!
I know you cannot tell much of the difference, because he injected very very tiny amount, only 0.5 CC each. I dowan to end up looking like a puffer fish lol.
However, even though it doesn’t improve my face contour dramatically, but after a few days i felt that my cheeks are SO MOISTURISED!!!!
Because my cheeks and under eyes are normally super dry and if i had any allergy my cheek will peel like mad.
But now it is so 饱满 and hydrated!!! Then i realized it is because the fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, which i already everyday apply on my face (in my skin care products), imagine this is tons of hyaluronic acid injected DIRECTLY INTO YOUR FACE no wonder it feels soooo smooth <3
Omg i love fillers so much!!! The only downside is that they don’t last forever la, generally a few months to half a year, means quite high maintenance, but still i am happy for now 
And then.
I went back to The Sloane Clinic for a second consultation.
I really wanted to improve my under eye, so Dr Kee gave me his own recipe for my chioness: Laser Toning, Pigment Laser, Tear Trough Filler and Revitalift.
First of all Laser Toning was done to improve my overall skin texture and pores. Dr Kee also did it on my undereye which he said it is safe on the undereyes and can help to improve my dark eye circles too. Next, Pigment Laser was done to reduce excessive pigmentation such as freckles and lentigo and stimulate our skin to produce collagen. But it will require a few sessions to remove the pigmentation .I’m sorry i don’t have picture for this, but it feels a little like IPL, but even less intense.
After that they also did an oxygen mask for me after Laser Toning and Pigment Laser.
And then Tear Trough Filler is basically just like my cheek filler except that the needle is even tinier so i practically couldn’t feel much pain. Or maybe i have reached a very high tolerance of pain out of vanity lol.
Immediately after filler.
The last one was Revitalift injection. This is to basically smoothen the fine lines under the eyes, improve dark eye circles and provide hydration to it. The previous two treatment has zero down time, but Dr Kee warn me that the last one i will experience some swelling for two days.

Ok it does look a bit swollen here but to my surprise, after like half an hour it has subsided and almost got back to normal and after applying some concealer i just went shopping as usual LOLOL.

QUITE SMOOTH RIGHT MY FACE???
My god i swear that the last time it was so smooth was when i was 17 wtf. And fine lines under my eyes also disappear!!! At first i thought is psychological la, but when i apply make up the under eye doesn’t cake anymore that’s how i know it is really much much more hydrated!!!
The dark eye circles is not gone completely of course but when i looked into the mirror i at least don’t scare myself anymore!! Also i notice it flattens my eye bags out 
Actually the result is even more obvious after like one week compared to right after the treatment so i think it will only get better
It is sooooo worth it <3
