Quick filler post while I prepare for our family spring trip back to Japan.

My… yearly coordinate post😂. First and maybe last of 2018 😂. It is really because the danna was helping out every day with the kids, cooking and housework in the apartment that I get to play dress up… a little. People who think that I look like this every can’t be more wrong 😂. I usually go pick cheesiepetits up from school in Singapore in my pajamas hahaha.

I feel shy to even call it “coordinate” because they are technically just “random pieces of clothing I grab from beneath my toddler’s feet to put on and lumps of make up I hastily brush against my face so I look human when we are already very, very late for the intended train ride to catch“.

To be honest I don’t even dare to post #ootd photos anymore because I feel that I have been so out of touch with whatever that’s in-trend now because the word “fashionable” has disappeared from my life from quite a while ago. I haven’t bought any fashion-related item for myself for at least a year. Or more. And the last time I took a selfie was when I accidentally pressed the front camera button and all you could see was my chin and a big frown. read more

Quick post!!

Honestly I cannot remember when was the last time I did a coordinate post. Or even properly take a coordinate picture, becauseeee…

1. My coordinate is forever same-ish no matter what I wear since I have a grey baby carrier strapped onto me almost the whole time.

2. When you have to fit 3 pax worth of autumn clothes into a single luggage, it doesn’t give you the choice to look fresh and different every day anymore…

3. Priority. My priorities are to prevent my toddler from jumping off a train platform and to solve a hungry baby situation, rather than, you know, finding good locations/angles for perfect #ootd shots. read more

Sooooo.

Everybody said that without a helper now, I will just have to put up with a messier house in exchange for a more peaceful state of mind and more family privacy. Which sounds like a fair trade off. After all our mental health is more important than a spot-free house! I thought long and hard about it. But there has to be a way that’s better than that. Why can’t I have it all??? I am a firm believer of having all your cakes and eat every single piece of it down to the last drop of fresh cream. read more

It’s been a crazy month with lots of traveling!! After 10 days in Singapore, we are back to KL now, and 3 days later we are flying off to Japan again. This would be my last trip before I have my hands full with two babies.

I’m suddenly getting super heavy now that I am in my third trimester, and our stay in Singapore was just super unhappening one with me resting at home the whole time with Junya. I didn’t even have the mood to cook T___T. Most of the time just tapao or eat out.

I haven’t done proper fashion posts in a while because i was so busy being unfashionable! Hahaha.

Anyway today’s useless fashion post is about fashion coordination with socks! One of the key points of recent Japanese fashion is sox (that’s how they spell socks haha), sox, and more sox!

It could be challenging for Malaysian and Singaporean fashion scene because we have almost zero socks culture, except when it comes to school uniforms and going to the gym. Or when someone is getting Hong Kong Feet omg. And i understand one of the reasons is that the weather is so. freaking. hot. read more

You may have heard of the apparel brand Toki Choi, because it’s super popular in Taiwan and internationally.  It is founded in 2004 by Mayuki Chen, a 21 year old who wanted to bring a wide selection of afforable stylish apparels to dress all girl at all ages, and to pamper all fashionista inside them.

I have not shopped in KL in a long time! For fashion, usually i buy one whole season worth of clothes when i travel to Japan XD

Room8008 invited me over to their shop for a shopping spree, and who would say no to shopping! I have seen them around on the internet as it’s one of many blogger’s favorites, but i didn’t know that they actually have a physical boutique too! It’s located at Berjaya Times Square, KL.

The moment i stepped inside, i was pleasantly surprised. This isn’t one of the million online blog shops i thought it typically would be! At first glance you might think you have walked into a random store in Harajuku. read more

As i grow more mature especially as a mom now, i am finding myself slowly outgrowing street accessories and fast fashion, and more towards quality and items that hold a significance to me. For example a simple T shirt that reminds me of the fun time from a distant resort holiday… or a precious pair of rings for an anniversary. It’s really weird to say so, but i want to treat each of my fashion item with love, and cherish them as long as i can.

Collection of my (and also sometimes Junya’s) coordinates this Japan trip in summer! The weather was mostly quite nice (pleasantly warm, though occasionally could be quite hot) so it was a breeze to dress up!

Other than the few outings we had, it was mostly just a trip to the mall next door or combini downstairs so some of them were really just Combini Coordinate lolol. BUT HEY I AM IN TOKYO. There’s zero forgiveness for fashion laziness.
