Apparently to get married in Japan you don’t even have to be physically present wtf. We wanted to officially register our marriage some time in July, and the kareshi was supposed to bring my passport for the registration in Japan. WITHOUT ME. Because i couldn’t be there, because i had to go to Guangzhou. -_-. Worst decision ever. But then it means had to have my passport with me all the time in Guangzhou, so the plan didn’t work. read more

And this is the 1,566th blog post since 8 years ago.

Today, 1 year ago. i was in disbelief how i have blogged for 7 years.

Today, 3 years ago, i got myself the first smart phone wtf.

Today, 4 years ago, i was amazed that i had a blog for 4 years.

Today, 6 years ago, i was still using gif file emoticons on blog.

Today, 8 years ago, i ditched diary and started a weblog. i had 0 zero readers that day. And i should really started building a secret spaceship.

And today, i am writing this in a narrow little hotel Tokyo wondering how the hell this blog has managed to made it this far. read more

Over the years i have received quite a few emails from people, namely you guys, and i really had fun reading them. Except those  about what camera i use, which contact lenses i wear, and where to go in Japan which… i also enjoyed ignoring wtf. NO LA. If i was in a good mood i’d normally reply. The purpose of this post is to make everybody else feel like they have done absolutely nothing for the last 365 days wtf. And also i just wanted an excuse to blog. And feel less shitty about aging.

Here are some things that happened or i have done this year in a sort of kind of not really chronological order.

1. Received email from NHK Japan, was all OMGWTF about it, then did an episode with NHK Tokyo Kawaii with #addiction.
2. Form Foruchizu Gyaru Circle with #addiction.
3. Met Maiko and Lie who changed my fashion sense. Forever.
4. Went to Venice
5. Went to Lyon
6. Went to Zurich (separating all these places so it looks as if i’ve done more shit with my life than i thought)
7. Discovered 9gag and threw my life away. (No la. But it changed the way i blog/talk/act forever).
8. Went on a sponsored trip to NSW, Australia.
9. Appeared on NHK Japan for the first time.
10. Get sponsored by 76style, which many good things ensued after that.
11. Went on a sponsored trip to HK and Otaru with Xiaxue.
12. Went to Bangkok with Iyvene.
13. Went to Singapore for holiday.
14. Walked on runway for Harajuku Street Style Singapore
15. Get sponsored by Invisalign at Orchard Scotts Dental!!!
16. Did another episode for NHK Tokyo Kawaii
17. Went to Berlin
18. Went to Prague
19. Went to Amsterdam
20. Did the first junk sales and got rid of half my Useless Fashion.
21. Involved in producing own contact lens line.
22. Won NAPBAS Best Fashion Blog Award
23. Watch ALL six installments of Star Wars wtf. Nao i’m a qualified 9gag girlfriend material. read more

This post was actually written a few weeks ago after Aud’s engagement but was never published because i felt nauseous by how revoltingly pathetic it sounds and then also a lot of good things happened so i thought it didn’t quite tally with the whole gleeful atmosphere and should just be a secret post buried forever but for some reason i’m totally in a self-pity mood today so here, i’m all yours to scorn at.

Which is condescending seeing how i almost teared in joy on stage just two days ago, which also tells you how temporary the kind of happiness fame and power brings you, which is also sort of the point i am trying to make in this entire blog post. read more

Sometimes i wish that i am living multiple lives simultaneously.

You know how people always say “maybe it is happening in a parellel universe”? I want to know all of my alternate lives in every other parellel universes.

Choice is sometimes the most difficult luxury one could ever have. (Choice: U MAD? #trollface.jpg.) There is so much to do, there is so much i want to do, there are so many dreams, yet i can only live once. Yet i can only make some happen.

You know the 10 second lag when you’re having a conversation with your friend who is holding an iPhone?

You ask, so how was the meeting? And your friend will be staring at his phone like a Time Demon just froze him and there will be an awkward 10-second silence during which you briefly consider picking up your own iPhone and stare at it too until your friends replies, “sorry what was it? Oh meeting. It was okay!”

Every fucking time.

Cancelled my trip to Japan. It’s more like for the sake of not worrying people who care about me since there are so many rumors and warnings, like not to eat Japanese food for the next 10 years if not your baby will become a mutant octopus or something like that.

Ok i exaggerated. But that’s exactly how rumors come about.

So i was very sad. Listening to Japanese songs also sad. Eat Japanese food also sad. Wear Japanese make up also sad. Totally unnecessarily dramatic and overreacting and utterly whiny and annoying. read more
