I searched my way through
And discovered a lovely winding road
Is it less-travelled?
I coudln’t tell.
But i saw a maze of narrow winding streets
I walked and walked
Breathed in the whispers of emaciated mimosa
They shunned my inquiring look elusively
Refused to point me the way to Elysium
I lost my way
And panicked
Because i just found out that
It was a one-way path
A one-way path
That has no turning back
I’ve all along been walking on one-way paths
Where i see sign boards that say
“Dead End”
or
“Danger–Cliff Ahead”
I sat by the steep face and looked back
But there’s no way back to where i begun
So i let myself fall again
And felt my heart shattering into powder form
