I had been so incredibly lucky during my two weeks stay in UK and Paris. There were tons of hiccups that slowed things down along the way, but all were blessings in disguise.
I am so happy. There are too many people/things i want to show my gratitude to, but i wish if only they knew. I still couldn’t believe my luck. The luggage i almost lost in Heathrow (which could have totally potong’ed my holiday steam) but found last minute; the kind lady at Waterloo Station who gave us a sticker after missing our train to Paris so that we could exchange for the next train for free ; the girl who picked up the oyster card i dropped and returned it back to me; the kind bus driver sama who drove us back from Bath to Bristol after we missed the last bus, even though he wasn’t supposed to; the kind staff in this service apartment in Bristol who let us stay in this warm, beautiful room for hours instead of shooing us out in the cold before we got on to our midnight bus back to London; and every random kind-hearted folk who gave us just the right direction we needed; every friend who made the effort to meet me, and every little thing they did to warm my heart up. read more
