Pun of the day:
I really don’t want to discard this lovely Valentine… 
I was doing some spring cleaning back in Seremban (btw, why must it be spring? Shouldn’t we change it to summer to suit local weather?).
And I found something.
A valentine.
No, someone didn’t give it to me. *I* bought it. Four years ago. I didn’t buy it because I had someone in mind, I bought it just because that was the sweetest valentine card I’d ever seen.
Ok la, I did have someone in mind, but that person could never be mine, so forget it man. I’m cheese-paring and I’m not gonna waste RM9.80 on someone who doesn’t give a cheese about me.
Four freaking years have passed and it’s still lying at the very bottom of my drawer next to my bed, beneath dozens of letters and other rubbish I never bothered to throw away. Now I know where those lonely sighs I hear every night come from.
Poor valentine.
I’ve joined Friendster for almost three years, and all along my relationship status has always stayed at “single”. Everytime I was ever so quietly happy, and about to click “edit profile” and select “in a relationship”, shit happens.
Every freaking time.
It doesn’t even give me a chance to try the “its complicated” option for fun. (Btw, dont you just love that term? It is a free pardon to the land of debauchery, and it allows you to run away from your responsibilities.)
Why liddat huh? I also dunno.
I suspect I’ve used up all my quota of luck God gave me. All at once during my SPM days.
Dear God, I’m deeply regretful now. You can take back those 9A1s, those coins I picked up from the streets, those spot-on wild guesses, and those extra mozzarella toppings the chefs accidentally splashed on my pizzas.
Have them all, please.
Can I trade them for someone who wouldn’t give me all the dreams I ever hope for, just to break my heart in the end?
God, please show me the potential recipient of the valentine I bought four years ago. I’ve been waiting.
The last person I want to give it to is the dustbin.

I totally know how you feel, just like the cruxifix laying next to my bed, I never had a chance to give her. Years passed, i still remain the same, as my dreams were destroyed, the day she got married. Thanks for a great post.

Coincidently, I used to have a Valentine’s Day card in my drawer for 5 years when I was still in high school, during that time my friends were all attached except for me… I used to love the card so much that I took out the card every Valentine’s Day… I felt horribly sad when I didn’t even have someone that I could send this card to… It’s sad… but days passed and I finally decided to throw that card during the spring cleaning ( autumn or winter or summer )… Well… life still goes on… and someday you’ll find your true love…. perhaps you don’t really need a guy when you have your friends with you thru the good and bad….

Sentimetal stuff…reminds me of the time an ex gave a me a little soft toy attached to a keychain, which i loved because it reminded me of him when i looked at it. then 6 months later after a big fight with him, i took out my butterfly knife and slashed the thing to bits… emo emo emo. we patched it up, but the relationship still didn’t work out in the end. But i still wished i never did it. kesian the toy only haha.

But then, we prefer to have more choices in the market, i.e. you won’t see Sony Ericsson having same design and navigation as Nokia. That’s why makes a brand distinguished from the rest. It’s good to see that you have many followers to your blog. Probably just my thought, but it’s good to see you grow your own way rather than be a Kenny Sia’s shadow

even though have so many friends around,loneliness are still in the air…
sometimes when feeling not so well,we just have ourselves…
sometimes when good things happened,we don’t have a somebody to share…
it takes a day to love,but a lifetime to forget…
i believe the time will come…
where loneliness will be banished from our life forever..
you should too…

there is always something for good moments long lasting till the end. Instead of V card, i got this special edition TITUS brand watch…it’s special alright, a gift by my-ex, she my first love..at the back of the watch, it’s written ETERNAL LOVE in chinese, the only thing that we both like at first look….now been 2 years di and she is getting married just couple of months from now, with another guy.
There is always good moments to fond of, for everything else, there is……..not MASTERCARD la, got CHEEZE ma….hehe…sound like Mastercard commercial tagline.
U should frame and archive the V card to cheeserland museum, coz I think urself is the best MAN deserve to have the V card. I’ll be the guard post if u want…since im jobless at the moment…:P
