    Absinthe tastes like licorice and is served best cold poured with pineapple jiuce and a bit of 7-up. Anything in moderation is cool so go ahead and give it a go. Don’t pour too much though as the alcohol content is pretty high, so it won’t take you a lot to get tipsy.

    Another method is to melt sugar in it right ?
    With a special spoon, with tiny holes dat will sip through it, and it will then change the color of the absinthe.

    La Fee Absinthe actually tastes quite good, as far as Absinthe goes. The blue Ab tastes a bit better, although the green Ab usually comes with a free glass. Absinthe + San Pallegrino Limonata + Ceres Orange/Apricot Fruit Juice + splash of Grenedine is prolly the easiest on the pallete.

    However if you’re in it for the fun, this trick I picked up surfing in South Africa is definately the way to go. Make sure you have an audience/hottie you wanna impress :

    1) take a shot; dont swallow
    2) tilt your head backwards, open your mouth.
    3) take a finger, swish the absinthe in your open mouth
    4) take your Ab-soaked finger and put it under a candle/naked flame. It will light up.
    -que impressed looks-
    5) quickly put your flaming finger into your mouth (while tilting head backwards)
    6) the Ab in your mouth will light up for a split sec.
    –que increased chances of scoring/badly seared mouth–
    7)gulp it down. Timing is everything - too fast and you’ll miss the flames. too slow and your tongue will burn. (it subsides after about an hour + copious amounts of beer)

    the ori absinthe (Pernod Fils i think)…u can’t get it anywhere anymore…
    pour it with water n it’ll change colour from green >> cloudy white
