Super quiet CNY eve

February 17, 2007 in Cheese-offs

On MSN.

OMFC Someone talk to me please!

>__< Scary. Why is it that when we grow older, reunion dinners become less sumptuous, the amount of people surrounding that old, round table become less and less, ang pows become smaller, new year tv programs become lamer and more lila, new year songs become more annoying than ever, new year activities become more and more boring, and the desire for a happier new year ahead becomes limper?

I expect less than 10 cheese droppings for this post lo. Why? Hometown very ulu no internet meh?! Too busy entertaning your kepoh relatives ah?! Friends bug you to mahjong with them is it?

New year eve cannot have reunion MSN meh?

Yes la yes la, Gong Xi Fa Cai la!

To compensate for your anticipation of a lack of response to this entry, i’ll make this comment long…ahahaha

My ‘kampung’ is Kuala Lumpur………its very ulu one………hahahaha

I dunno about you, but i only ‘main’ MSN when i’m in my office…..to kill time mah……..
I’ve always preferred old CNY tunes than modern ones….and i especially dislike the CNY songs sang by a bunch of kids with squeaky voices…..and the MVs!! What were they thinking?!?!
CNY income by means of Angpow contribution has never been generous, many of my aunts/uncles are still struggling to make ends meet, so..angpow getting smaller or not…doesnt make a difference…(not that i really mind…..its the “lai see” that counts mah, rite?…)
I hate CNY tv programmes………i dunno why? i’d rather be watching my cousins playing cards or walk around my grampa’s house than watch tv…..hahaa….but usually, i can choose neither coz i’ll be too busy babysitting a dozen kids…..hey, blame it on being labelled as the gold medal babysitter, ok?….

ooops……mom calling for reunion dinner….gonna suffer, coz having a bit of a headache and lack of appetite…but duwan to hurt mom’s feeling by not eating….heheheheh…..
You have a great Chinese New Year Celebration, Cheesie….!!

Well , of course peeps usually went out during CNY .

U’re rite about the CNY getting less sumptuous . Especially my reunion dinner just now . My dad can’t make it back on time , same goes to my cousin sister , and the food actually DEGRADE . OMC! During the past, we get to eat “pau yu , yu qi , abalon/fishfin” , but this time was food ordered from outside instead. Wow! Can’t blame my auntie though coz she’s tired of her CNY business thingy .

Well , if ure bored , im always available lol because my list also got minimal peeps online . All I did is too mass forward CNY mssg out there .
