Canning Vale markets (sunday), Guilderton, The boring Bell tower, Party in Northbridge, Goto the the hills at night time over looking perth nice veiw, John Forest National Park check out aussie bush, Mundaring Weir, Kings Park at night time, walk around the bridges of the swan river, Perth Zoo( south Perth) Northbridge Markets near alexander library. Burswood Casino, Cottelsloe Beach, Helicopter Joyride( near causeway), ride a bike around the river. Boat cruise up the Swam. Wine Tasting in upper swan. Need more?

Corico’s Apple Strudel is the best! You HAVE to try it…i brought back 4 boxes when i came back! the chocolate factory at swan valley is a must go too..=)

don’t forget to try Ciao Italia, you’ll never have Italiannis again! :p (or maybe you will, but you won’t find it as awesome anymore hahaha)
if you’re going to Fremantle, u can eat at Cicerellos or Kailis Fish Market Cafe. You can visit the Fremantle market too
there’s also Rottnest Island which is off the coast of Fremantle I think, but not sure if you have the time to.
other things you can do, probably walk around the city, visit London Court which is in the city as well.
judging by your picture, you’ve probably been to King’s Park so I’ll leave that out

OMG! I love Perth! Must go to Swan River, pretties river I’ve ever seen, but that’s prolly coz I’ve never travelled much before. T_T
And Caversham Park is nice as well. Can touch koalas! Not sure if you can carry ‘em. But last time I went there, we could carry a baby wombat and take pic.
King’s Park has super nice view, been there at night only though, but gorgeous nonetheless. Oh, and Whistler’s chocolate is awesome too.
Oh yeah, Sorrento Quay is quite pretty too. It’s a harbour I think, with plenty of boats. I think prettier than Fremantle.

Yes, Corico’s Apple Strudel is a definite MUST!
For cheap asian food in the city – chicken udon @ mr samurais, and the dynamite roll at poppos (both are along barrack st) are yummy!
For the best (and cheap) italian food – go to CIAO ITALIA in como. You will need to get in around 6pm, otherwise the wait will be over half an hour… it’s just too popular hahah!
Freo has the best chilli mussels! Find this place diagonally opposite DOME at freo… gahhh.. forgot what it was called but I’m sure whoever’s taking you around will know
And whilst you’re at Freo, Rotto is only 1hr ferry away… can take pics with cute quokkas!
Oh, and there’s the fremantle prison tour (i think that goes on for 1-2h) and it’s awesome! Very spooky
King’s Park is a must-see, but most of the must-sees in “Perth” are outside of Perth… like Pemberton and Swan Valley for wines/chocolates… wish you were staying longer!

I went to Perth about 3 weeks ago for about a week. Been to quite a few places (we drove to down South till Albany as well).
Something that you should not miss:
1. Fremantle Fish and Chips (i ate at Kailis, quite nice..their seafood are really fresh..yum yum), walk around fremantle as well, you’ll see lotsa limosines and also Hummer Limo, I’ve nvr seen one in Malaysia yet so far).
2. Go to kings Park at night, the view of their town is spectacular. My friend told my sometimes you could catch ppl making love there at night..dunno how true is that.
3. Caversham Wildlife Park (for me it’s a must, lotsa tame kangaroos there, you can touch them and take pictures together,but they sleep most of the time. Can touch the koalas too)
4. Go to their beaches..it’s really nice.
5. I went to Bunbury Mariston Hill & lookout( I can’t remember exactly how many hours drive away from perth city itself), I find it really really really nice and it’s super windy.
5. my friend told me that you can go to a beer factory for a visit, it’s called Little Devil if not mistaken (i din manage to visit there)

OMG! I miss Perth! How envious. Stuck in Melbourne instead with rainy weather. Have lots of fun Cheesie. Visiting Freo and city at the moment is good enough seeing you don’t have much time. Yeah those places the rest have recommended for food are the best!

melbourne is love. i think u’d like it there rin! people there are chic and they take the effort to dress up despite the crazy weather (unlike here in brissy where it’s normal to walk around in board shorts and bare feet).
i find melbournians not as warm and receptive as perthians though. =)
Oh, by the way, if you’re a fan of wine, you should go swan valley. I’ve worked there for a while as a casual.

Then, go Perth Zoo or Go rottnest, or if you want to see heaps of General Aviation Aircraft, Jandakot Airport. Busiest Small airport in southern hemisphere, landing during office hours is like landing every 30 secs. OR sometimes up to 15 secs for take off and landing
Or if you want you can go to Caversham wildlife park. You can actually touch the Koala and take photo. No charge, but have to pay entry. It’ll take you 3 hours to finish walking the whole place. If you want I can take you. I have a car =3
Caversham wildlife park is very big! They have wombat appearance, you can feed the kangaroo by hand, and bird park. ( Well, bird park isn’t that popular)

Head over to Kings Park, Albany, Mandurah, Tree Top Walk and Valley Of The Giants. I loved those places. Don’t miss the river cruise at Mandurah. And be sure to take a day tour to Albany-TreeTopWalk-ValleyoftheGiants. It usually comes as a package. Kings Park was in a bush fire recently but I think it’s a sight to behold even when it’s charred. =)
The Perth Mint and the Perth Zoo a bit boring. Haha. Don’t bother.
T_T no time to go so many places lo. haha yea saw the bush fire aftermath.
Then just tapau Coricas and bring back. And nougat. Haha. Damn good. Yums!
And this may seem really bodoh but… go Chinatown! There’s a Malaysian restaurant there that serves THE BEST Golden Fried Rice. =p
Wahliau mspamsong! Ppl sam sam fu fu go Aus from Malaysia and u recommend them go eat Malaysian food der! Farnee la u!!! Hahaha!!
Haha. Sorry lah. When I was there I stayed for quite a bit so Malaysian food held quite the fascination for me. Haha. BUT I TELL YEW, IT’S DAMN GOOD!!! Nothing in Malaysia can compare with that fried rice. Especially when it’s cold in winter. Ahhh.

you must go south, past fremantle, then you can visit MARGARET RIVER CHOCOLATE FACTORY- free chocolate, all you can eat. they also have cheese-tasting there, and tons of artsy little craft stores or art places. you must also visit that nougat factory.
buy some food from perth city- Subway or sushi or something, then sit at the ledge of king’s park and eat. love the ambience and how windy it is there.
visit fremantle markets, lots of nice trinkets there. the fish and chips there are really good.
just had the fish and chips and i think thats what makes me feeling abit sick now :/
You must go to this Italian restaurant, Ciao Italiana in South Perth. Order their carbonara and tiramisu, promise wont disappoint you. And visit the University of Western Australia at night, it’s pretty

Went there last year December. Crappy booze is right..it’s more like one the quieter cities in Aussie compared to Gold Coast and Melbourne..
The thing I enjoyed most there was the scenery that is for sure

Cheezieeee I am your big fanS haha (love your pics more than the ramblings at times)! But alas, I’m in Sydney at a time when you chose to be in Perth. Otherwise I’d be sure to catch you in Freo and cam whore sama-sama, acting like utter bimbo tourists.
Don’t fret though, Corica’s is nothing to shout about, in my opinion. And about the fish n chips, it’s the batter and oil and all that deep frying which is a cocktail for a sickly after-taste AND after-feel. Rather disgusting and over-rated, that Cicerello’s. Kailis might be better – on top of that tartare sauce is complimentary.
Maybe i’ll catch you when i’m back in KL when u have you next ‘public appearance’.. cewahhh! Waiting to see your pics
