Cheddie’s been sneezing for a few days. She sneezes every now and then and every time she drinks. At first i thought maybe she just drank water a bit too quickly, but the symptom persists and now she coughs quite badly.
Apart from the sneezing and coughing, she’s her usual playful self.
Oh ya oh ya! Did i mention that she now knows how to sit when i signal?!!666

Could it be Kennel Cough? I’m bringing her to a vet. Any good one you can recommend? (around PJ area).

Ringo, the best one i would recommend is not in PJ.
It’s nearby Mid Valley (Jln Klang Lama to be exact)
They’ve won a several best vet in town

my boboie also sneeze every now and then.. dunno whether it is norm or not.. but i’ll be taking him to the vet for his last injection.. i’d ask him then

How old is your pup? Looks smaller then my pup. My pup sneeze as well, sometimes when she drinks water too quickly it also happens. I mean if your pup is hacking very badly… it’s possibly a cold? I think kennel cough is more serious.

Could be nose blocked, cold or the dusty. Dog’s nose is very sensitive and since she is still apuppy, better rush to vet to check on her. Probably she is not feeling very well. Hope she get well soon.

cheesie, i just brought boboie to the vet.. he vomited twice already.. the vet said that probably he got not enuf food.. so the acid in the stomach makes him vomit.. i also did asked him is it normal if a dog sneezes.. he said yes.. but as long as the nose isn’t watery and the green stuff comes out doesn’t come out, then it’s alright!
as for her cough, i think u should take her to the vet..
anyway, the vet that i went to is in cheras.. think would be too far for u.. but then they have emergency on call.. which is good.. if anything happens to boboie, i can call up the vet and he’d be standing by for me
hmmmm… if anything happens to boboie in the future, i’d be driving from d’sara damai to cheras.. speeding!! :p

I think the best is at Old Klang Road, near MV.
Very experienced, been around many years.
best vet around.
they saved my cat whom I nearly lost 3 times to UTI.

Feed her with grass… Lalang will be good. Do you know that when dogs are sick, they cure themselves by eating grass? Not too sure about dog flu though…

Funnily enough I’m after a vet as well. The missus and I stumbled across the tiniest little kitten trying to crawl out of a drain this afternoon. We’ve cleaned and fed it this evening and are taking it to the vet tomorrow. Fingers crossed it’s alright.

i always take my dog there but too bad am out rite now so cant get his card .
the doctors there are specialised and also very attentive to the dogs.

Take it to a vet soon, cheesie. It’s exactly the same symptoms as my lil Floppie. Floppie passed away due to those very symptoms. Seems that the damn dog breeder skimped on the second vaccination and Floppie caught a cold.
Sent it back to them to rectify what’s wrong…guess what. They pumped poor Floppie with steroids to suppress the symptoms and sent it back to us. Floppie died a few days later in my parents’ arms. I was at work that day. Still feel the loss of Floppie till today.

oh another thing, i noticed in the first pic that Cheddie has some fur tickling the nose. might wanna try trimming it a bit to avoid unnecessary irritation to the already sensitive nose.
if my mom was around in KL, i’d ask her if she would help give Cheddie a trim. she took a special pet grooming course in Thailand from a guy, who is the thai dog whisperer. ^__^ she stopped the pet shop business, but still has the grooming kit. her victim, our 2 persian-mix cats.

hey, ive been checking ur blog out for quite sometime now, anyways, regarding ur pooch, my dad’s a vet, and ive asked him ,he said it’s totally normal for dogs to sneeze once in a while, it’s nuttin to worry bout, it’ll go away soon, dat’s the wonder of dogs, well, im not sure if u’ll buy this, but u can pop sum vit C for her too, jz so long as she’s still active and her normal self, she’ll be fine, btw, she’s so adorable

At first i didn’t really pay attention to the sneezing until she began to cough too, quite frequently, that’s what got me worried. She tends to drink/eat too fast, which kind of chokes her! 0.0 She’s on antibiotics for two weeks. Will see how she progress.

tiger^cub: do u crush our human-consumption Vit C tablets and add it to the food? what’s the dosage like? there are like 500mg and 1000mg ones out there of the shelves.
cheesie: it’s ok if u don’t feel comfortable with the trimming. mom used to make sure they were settled down comfy before keeping them still before the trims. her instructor was even better. used to talk the the pets and they would somehow listen. mom told me there was a noisy dog, which he had to attend to. he was stroking the dog while telling the dog something along the lines of “sit still ok and let me do my work. i’ll make you all nice and beautiful”. the dog sat and stopped barking. kinda makes me go all (@_@) so terror.

混血のシーズーだった。 普通のシーズー8キロまでだけど、キキは超大きかった。14キロ。その時まだデジカメを持っていなかった。もし今度クチンに行ったら、是非その子の写真を見せる。
