Dogs loves chocolate but we can’t feed them that, because it is poisonous to them. But my friend brought some “Doggy Friendly Choco drops” and I was able to make my dog all sort of tricks …:P

That’s a great trick. Most maltese are impatient and distracted to learn. One note though, you gotta groom cheddie. His hair is getting a bit too long, and it’s hot in M’sia. So I think you should get his hair trimmed, especially on the eyes part

mc: Chelsey!!! SOunds so cheesy, i love!!! Cheddie is 3 months old. You have to be patient, if she jumps around when she sees the treat, wait until she calms down and sits down, if she tries to eat the treat, just cover it with your hand. If she stays, reward her. Do it a few times and she’ll get it!
Aivin: it’s just part of playing with her. I don’t make it a very serious thing.
Stargazer: You can!!! At first i also thought it’s something impossible la cuz first time having a puppy. But dogs are really smart creatures, they understand and learn very fast.

I’ve done dog training on my neighbour’s dog b4.. but since they don’t practise my teachings the dog revert to his old self lol…

She knows how to give me a high 5 when she wants food and she gives me a hug when she wants to be let out to play ..:P
The hardest part to train is the pooping and peeing, because once they pee or poop somewhere they wern’t suppose to, the smell is there and they always like to go back and do it there again…:S

UPM is organizing the 2007 Dogathon at their uni compound, come along with Cheedie if you’re free! Loads of games and loads of fun! you can come join a small picnic organized by my friends@lovdog.com…. Cheedie will meet our kiddos, great chance to socialize!
Another thing though, i do not buy treats for my kiddos… I use cheddar cheese, fresh chicken breast meat (cooked).. I used to give treats to them but later found that it was the cause of skin problems and shedding problems… And i dont buy cheap cheap brands… i bought the expensive and reputable brands! Gah……
