/Update
I had been so incredibly lucky during my two weeks stay in UK and Paris. There were tons of hiccups that slowed things down along the way, but all were blessings in disguise.
I am so happy. There are too many people/things i want to show my gratitude to, but i wish if only they knew. I still couldn’t believe my luck. The luggage i almost lost in Heathrow (which could have totally potong’ed my holiday steam) but found last minute; the kind lady at Waterloo Station who gave us a sticker after missing our train to Paris so that we could exchange for the next train for free ; the girl who picked up the oyster card i dropped and returned it back to me; the kind bus driver sama who drove us back from Bath to Bristol after we missed the last bus, even though he wasn’t supposed to; the kind staff in this service apartment in Bristol who let us stay in this warm, beautiful room for hours instead of shooing us out in the cold before we got on to our midnight bus back to London; and every random kind-hearted folk who gave us just the right direction we needed; every friend who made the effort to meet me, and every little thing they did to warm my heart up.
Souvenir for me. My expensive foie gras.
And the weather. The first day i arrived London it was drizzling and foggy. I thought it was gonna be like this all the time. But the sun shone bright the next day. And the next, and the next… Until i got to Paris. London started to rain a little, and got gloomy. But Paris was sunnier than ever. When i finally got back to London, it was warm again.
I so love this.
Oh, oh, and this super nice owner of the Baby The Stars Shine Bright shop in Paris (Yes! They have one in Paris! The only overseas branch!) who let me camwhore all i wanted in his gorgeous little boutique, and gave me gifts even though i didn’t intend to buy anything (it was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper expensive). I was so touched i wanted to cry. It was the highlight of my entire Paris trip. More pictures on that, promise.
Who am i, a lucky star, who has the sun following me everywhere? I’m so blessed and everything just made my little cheescapade the most unforgettable ever. I wonder how many random fluffy animals i’ve saved from being kicked by Wendy to deserve this luck.
Mom is so not gonna like this! Haha.
Now that i am back, my mood goes like 🙂 🙁 🙂 🙁 🙂 🙁 🙂 🙁 , driving me nuts cheeses.
Happy because i can finally smell and hug my stinky bolster. Emo because i miss London. Happy because I CAN FINALLY SEE MY BABY CHEDDIE!!!666 Emo because i miss London. Hi there, interested to know how did you get from London to Paris? Was it by train? And how long and how much did it cost? Planning a trip in Dec and would be great if I can get some first hand info from you! 🙂
cL: I took Eurostar. I think it’s around 100+ pounds. Super expensive.
I think other website proprietors should take this web site as an example, very clean and wonderful user friendly style and design.
