Until today, Cheddie and Koyuki still cannot get along well.
Cheddie stays in Seremban with my mom. And whenever i go back for visits, both of them sure give me hell time fml.
THEY FIGHT. ALL. THE. TIME.
Koyuki will suddenly hijack her turf, force her out, then drink her water and chew on her pillow.
Like, really chew max.
“Can you stop doing that.” ”FM Pillow’s L.”
Then Cheddie is either tulan max or emo max.
Then Koyuki will emo back.
One is annoying max by playing too rough. Another is a drama queen max she will bloody shriek at the slightest nudge.
I DUNNO HOW TO HANDLE ALL EVERYTHING ALLLLL!
ARGHHHHH.

my dogs are like that too, actually maybe worse!!!! have a new pup (Dog A) and she likes to disturb my other dog (Dog B) by drinking his water if he’s also drinking, or snatch his toys if he’s playing and sometimes bite his ear. And then sometimes get in a bitch fight with another dog (Dog C) . sigh.. Cesar Millan help!

I think that it is more quarrels between brother and sister,they plays together by annoying the other one. With my brother it is like that, when one is quiet the other is going to annoy him and vice versa. It is nasty, just a game. We look for the attention of the other.

I think both of them need to socialize more. Separating them creates voids and when they meet again after a certain period, they need to start getting to know each other again.

Oh, there’s a trick that was used back in my parents time, and I’ve tried it once.
I brought a kitten back to the house once (when I already have a dog), and then put it’s paws together and like pray to the my dog. After that they got along fine. Initially all the cat’s fur was standing up behind its neck haha. Just choose the domineering animal and then make it submit to the other.

Hmmm well Cheddie was here before… so maybe she doesn’t like the fact that Koyuki is here (and took a lot of your attention when she was sick…) but a lot of dogs play around like that, it might not be fighting? A good way to reduce that, if to walk them enough so they get tired and don’t have the energy to fight!

omg…your dogs really kao kao cute! but in honesty, you need to be in charge here because you are the human and the mistress, so they must know you are in charge. i think you need to close cheddie’s cage and not let K go in, try spraying her with water and say “bad dog” if she thrashes cheddie’s cage..take away the pillow, if K garang with you,you have to be more garang. i think the message has to be clear that bad behavior will not be tolerated.

I think it’s cause she’s a Husky, it’s really her nature to try and dominate smaller things. They really can’t get along with smaller creatures le… But I think you can teach her to tolerate each other by positive reinforcement? Take them to a neutral territory, then when they sit together nicely or are playing nicely, give them treats and make a big deal out of it. Try letting your mum do that with cheedie and you with Koyuki. I think Cheedie lagi marah because it’s her territory, so she doesn’t like it la.
If nothing else works then…. Er…. Have to keep them separate lo.

Oh my…..both of them are so cute. Remind me of my Maya and Fluffy. That’s how Fluffy react when I first took Maya home. Don’t worry, they will sure get along. It takes time. Is headache at first but as time goes by is all worth it. I forgotten Koyuki is a he or she but he/she looks gorgeous and beautiful. Good luck.
