Yay!
Number76 branch at Telawi Square is so popular that now they have just opened a second branch in Bangsar!
To avoid confusion they have now named the first branch in Telawi Square “Number76 Bangsar 1”, and the new one at Jalan Telawi (next to the post office) as “number76 Bangsar 2”.
You all are gonna love this new branch, because it is so far the most spacious and cozy one at a superb location (i always park at Bangsar Village I or II and just walk across), not to mention very, very cool interior design. I have never seen any salon pay so much attention to the littlest and most delicate details. Japanese quality to the max. Leveling up every single time! 😀
Imma show you some of the interior photos i took!
Located at Jalan Telawi ground floor, just behind the existing Bangsar 1 branch, about 1 min walk distance!
Took this morning during the first day of business.
Taken with fish eye lens. Next to the salon is Bangsar’s post office. You won’t miss it!
The salon sports a very vintage retro feel, as opposed to the common sleek and modern interior many other salons are having. At first glance from the outside you will won’t really make out that it’s a hair salon until you spot the mirror frames and cutting chairs.
Love the warm wooden floor and rustic bricks wall and random mirror frames. It’s so new yet so old lol.
Waiting area is also very spacious so now your boyfriend has a space to rest and catch up with Candy Crush.
There are also small tables in front (was moved away for the staff party) so from outside it actually looks like a little cafe!
Number76‘s message 😀
Most of the furniture and deco are also vintage and sourced from Japan so you will never see them anywhere else here, and i just love to discover all the small little details!
Little vintage accessories.
And also most worth mentioning is that this new branch is also very thoughtful for Muslimah customers who need a private space. Here are two seats (bring a friend!) covered with full curtains with attached washing basin for utmost privacy.
I joined the opening staff party the night before the grand opening!
And congrats to my stylist, Amy, who is now the new shop boss of Number76 Bangsar 2!!! 2 years ago she was just an assistant and it’s hard to believe how much she has grown in just a short couple of years! So proud of her T_T
Also, Number76 stylists who have moved to this new branch are Amy herself (from Bangsar 1), Shaun (from Mid Valley), and Calvin (from Bangsar 1), and from January next year onwards, a Japanese stylist from Tokyo will be joining the new branch too. Yoshi stays in Bangsar 1, and Steve and Odera San station in Mid Valley branch.
Can’t wait to visit it for hair services again!
