I want to name this my favorite restaurant in the world.
Address: 上海市长宁区虹许路951号4楼
Price: RMB198 (RM100) per pax, and eat until you die.
I want to eat until i die here, and i will be cremated here so they can sprinkle my ashes all over the food—Oliver Denton.
Went there with Oli, Ibytun (Ibby + Oytun. They are so inseparable like Siamese twins hence the new name), Onur and Boston.
I have to blog this entry flickr style because there are like, 43 pictures in total. I’ll let them speak on my behalf. read more
I’ve heard enthusiastic recommendations from my longest friend Ichigo about Clinique. She hearts Clinique’s moisturizer and eye cream to the max.
So when i got an invitation by Nic to Clinique’s New Clinique Experience at their 1st stand-alone store in Pavilion KL, i went for it without any hesitation! It’s the first stand-lone store in South East Asia.

It looks very comprehensive and classy!
There’s a new additional dermatological technology used in the new store–Clinique Diagnostic Mirror. read more
Yes go to the Bund and eat Xiao Long Bao. But why the heck would I want to write about them when there is MUCH better things to do if you throw away the guidebook and pick up an ang moh guide. In China.
1. Spit
Everybody spits. And i mean, everybloody.
Shanghai is 666% better than what i remember of 4 years ago, but this is just one single habit they can’t seem to shake off. I think it’s the pollution. It just goes into your throat, sits there, and wants to come back out.
I was told that when people move here, they go through a three step process: read more
Bring a pair old, smelly, muddy old sneakers to any adidas participating outlets and receive up to RM100 for a new pair!!

So i went to Pavilion adidas.

And saw this big ass shoe bin.

With many pairs of old sneakers in it.

What turf. Just threw away half a can of button mushroom that was so mouldy i swear it’s magical, and a glass of melamine yogurt (it was milk yesterday). Threw dirty clothes into the laundry bag. Wrote advertorials. Went to the doctor then threw away the medicine because i hate antibiotics. Finished my Shanghai Pills (T_T). PAID BILLS. Paid credit cards omg sob. Got upset over some issue. Recovered a little. Talked to some idiot. Got a headache because my house is ultra messy. I swear to myself I will unpack my luggages. Now. Like, now. Like, right now. How about, now. And there’s hair to pick up from the floor. Gross. I need a maid. And i miss my stupid dog. read more

Hi, this is Oli typing.
Cheesie forced me to write this I’m so ecstatic to be able to talk today about something that is very close to my heart: London!
Shanghai is a strange city. There are more than 18,000,000 Chinese people living here, and yet when you walk around People’s Square on a Saturday afternoon it seems like half of the inhabitants are either French, German or British men. Quite disappointing for me, lots of fun for Cheesie! Her Cheesiness does have one problem though – telling these three breeds of individual apart. As a professional people-spotter, and having grown up in Europe, it’s second nature to me. Here’s the cheat-sheet: read more
How do you know your holiday has been absocheesinglutely awesome?
When your Nintendo DS and the book you brought are still sitting in the luggage. Intact.
My Shanghai trip has been one of the greatest holidays i’ve been on. And i’m about to list Shanghai one of my favorite places on earth. It was nothing like what i remember of 4 years ago.
And what’s more, i had the bestest Shanghai friend. Who speaks Mandarin (and French oh so sexy). No you can’t hang out with Oli. I have claimed ownership of him. You have to queue to get a number to queue for an application to be a Niu Nai Entourage. Cheeserland reserves the right to ruthlessly reject, terminate, modify, amend or suspend any application, including canceling any method of entry, and select a candidate from previously received eligible entries. Good luck. read more
As soon as i touched down, i thought i was gonna pass out.
But when i was still in Shanghai, i was healthy like a fresh daisy (those are Oli’s words). Isn’t human body amazing. It knows how to hold you up just so you could have fun till the very last minute. Same like a really really urgent tummy ache isn’t it.
Thank you Body. 😀
But now i’m down with an atrocious flu.

My sofa now looks like an orgy has just happened.
Me: Oli i’m sick
Oli: Awww
Me: 🙁
Oli: Take a Shanghai pill!
Me: Omg i totally forgot about it!
Oli: 😀 read more

I don’t know about you but i adore Whisper (honest)! I had my first period when i was 14 (late boomer i am), and i can safely say i have been using it for 10 bloody years (pun optional) already! I had tried other brands once in awhile but in the end i still stick to Whisper. read more
