He’s da dog, man.

January 20, 2007 in Cheddie&Pets

Pun of the day:
What do you get when you cross a herding dog with a daisy?
A collie-flower.

Saw this in Ikano Pet Safari.

Guess how huge it is?

Reminds me of St Bernard’s in Tom & Jerry’s.

No no, actually, reminds me of this:

Is this what you wanted, CuriousAmerikaner?

I had one st.bernard, and his name was scottie.
it was less than a year, and my dad accidentally let it run out ot the gate at 2 a.m while i was in bed.
i woke up the next mornign to find him gone, and spent the next 2 months searching for him all over, and i even posted a notice on puppy.com, but no one ever posted a reply.

i miss him soooooooooooo much. he was my real life huge fat teddy bear , and his fur always smelt like he just came out of a washing machine after a bath :(((((((((((

  10. Bluey says:

    O_O was it a him ?

  11. sheon says:

That brought back memories of my fren’s St Bernard…..who got killed from a venomous spray of a cobra, and i kid you cheeses not….poor thing got blinded on both eyes, and slowing killing him from there…..

I’ve seen quite a few St Bernards at shows and places, but i’ve never seen one that’s totally “healthy”….their coats are dull, most have calluses at their hinds…etc…..

  12. leonade says:

cheesie… that is only a pup, do u realize that?? Haha…

  13. cheesie says:

Christine: Very much! Waiting for the right opportunity.
Bluey: I’m not sure… Sorry to hear that… hope it comes back to you one day. 🙂
Sheon: This St Bernard’s quite beautiful. Just he drools too much. 😛
leonade: Yea, he’s only one year old.

  14. Christine says:

U should try Sam’s Pet/Aquarium. The dogs there are cute and not very expensive. Or u can adopt one from the SPCA!

  15. cheesie says:

    Christine: Where is it!!!666

  16. Aman says:

Wow he is almost as big as you are!

The one with the pink ears is so cute! I have a dog almost like that (well without the pink ears) I should put some pictures of her on my blog sometime!

oh and I absolutly cheese your blog!

  17. pH7 says:

Don’t you guys think is a little cruel to bring in a St. Bernard to Malaysia? How well can they adapt to this kind of climate?:|

  18. bbqueeniez says:

do you know there’s something call AIRCON?
and what makes you think that they can only survived in places with COOL climate??

Not the WHOLE united states have COOL climate?
    Not EUROPE??

Just dont understand why you ppl keep thinking St. Bernard, Siberian Huskies, Chow Chow and all those pretty babies are not meant for Msia???

  19. pH7 says:

are you preparing to have a portable air conditioning unit if you have a St. Bernard?lol
You can’t always keep it in a air condition room. It has to go out;)

  20. Nelly says:

big dog or small dog also dog!
hahaha cheesie u are funny 🙂

  21. Ivy says:

    wow, wat a big dog… I love it…

  22. sheon says:

St Bernards are beautiful dogs…no kidding. But…imagine the appetite that comes with a dog THAT size!! Jeez!…..I’ll stick with my Cheesie Husk….hahaha….

Hey Cheesie…thats a million dollar smile in pic #2 there!

  23. bbqueeniez says:

and what makes you think that they CANNOT TAHAN the warm and humid weather in msia???

no one ask you to bring them out at 12 noon!!

I jog my huskies at 7am every morning..
    and around 9pm every night!

I’ve brought my kids to canine events…
THEY LOVE IT!! and totally ENJOYED IT!!!!

  24. Bluey says:

    *high fives queenie*

and besides. st.bernards in malaysia are mostly born and bred *in* Malaysia, so they are used to the weather right away.

anyone would be stupid to actually bring a st.bernard/husky pup from, say, the st.bernard pass to hot Malaysia. the poor dog’ll die. =_=

  25. Hijackqueen says:

ST. Bernard is huge and hugable. Bear in mind, they are dem smelly!!!

  26. Christine says:

Um. It’s at Marine Parade, near Popular bookstore. But sometimes very little dogs as they don’t ‘replenish’ their stock very often. If you’re in luck, u might see all the glass panales filled with dogs!

I saw a maltese there once. It wad uber cute!!! BUt I don’t noe still there or not lah.

  27. bbqueeniez says:

really dont understand ppl who shoot me and said..
“eh! you so cruel one… Sibes not for msia one lar!”

I probably love them more than i love myself!!!!!!

  28. Bluey says:

    😀 . i love my retriever more than myself too . x)
