Mr.bbq:
A backdated entry (01/01/2008) on Alishan by cheesie-sama, but as of now still no whiff of where she might be!

We drove up to Alishan from Taipei after countdown!

The weather was crazy! From 16°C it went down to 3°C on top of the mountain.

null
Everyone went and took picture with the LED board cuz no one had experienced such a low temperature before, damn jingjang! (It was Santa Claus behind me, spooky right!)

null
So we had to do some last minute winter shopping.

null
VV and I both bought gloves.

I think guys are so loserish when it comes to tahaning coldness! TT and YY totally couldn’t stand the weather they bought extra scarves, masks, winter cap and wrapped themselves up like Swiss rolls. But VV and i were fine with the temperature. We thought it was really cold, but not cold until can die kind of cold! Then the guys said that’s because we girls have got too much excess fat to burn in the body. -_-

null
We were sooooo touched to spot 7Eleven and Starbucks up Alishan. Cuz we thought the mountain is really really ulu one lo!

null
The design of Starbucks! So Cina looking haha!

null
7Eleven was the warmest place in the entire mountain.

SUDDENLY!

null
Two bandits rushed in with their imaginary weapons and demanded 3 instant noodle cups and all the heat pouches in the entire shop. No one was harmed and the cash register was left untouched. I think they were just cold.

null
A painting inside of a steamboat restaurant. It illustrates the killing of a ferret (i think?).

null
And now it is dead. -_-

null
AHAHHA the bandits surrendered.

null
The hugest hot pot ever. And i wonder if got ferret meat inside. -_-

This is what the guys did back at the hotel.

null
YY and TT hogging the heater. -_-

And they maintained the same position for hours.

The next day!

Caught the pre-dawn train in the morning for sunrise.

null
Damn semangat the old aunties uncles.

null
Before Sunrise! (love the movie)

null
The stalls selling steaming hot food were ever so good laku.

null
VV and i looking like we had not eaten for 30 years.

null
Sunrise in motion!

null
YAY SUNRISEEE!!!

null
Yay sunrise!

null
Yay suuun riiiiiise. -_-

The guys couldn’t believe they drove all the way up here while almost frozen to death for a… 1 minute… sunrise? O.o

null
Then took train back down?

null
I like this picture a lot!

null
Went and had the shabbiest breakfast ever.

Then took the car and drove down hill.

At the parking lot, all the cars got frosty!

null
Woohoo a super gorgeous Camry.

null
Another super hot Camry wtf Camry in Taiwan is so cheap I ALSO WANT! It’s so cool (that it’s all frosty?)!

Half way down hill we also went for…

null
The fencihu lunchbox.

null

null

And also something hilarious! 😀

null
Huen Dan! WTF HAHAHA!! Who will eat that AHAHHAH! Damn dumb right!! HAHAHHA.

null

Ok. I will. -_-

It’s a hybrid of tea-flavored egg white (apparently it is not white anymore), salted egg yolk and century egg texture. It actually tasted really nice!

Okay la that’s it for Alishan. More update on Kaohsiung. Stay cheesed.

Stay cheesed indeed, a little bird told me a clue on her whereabouts, that it has something to do with Red.fm so if anyone knows anything, let us know!
