i ♥ Shiba inu

April 15, 2010

#1

My host family has two Shiba inu.

#3

A 5-months old male puppy Kotabo, and 1year + female Mashiro. (They damn layan the chew toy i got for them!)

#4

Bring them out for walks everyday.

#5

My Onechan always carry a plastic bag and everytime the Shibas start going around in circle, she will squat down and wait for the gold to drop.

Every. single. time.

That’s why grass in Japan is very safe to step on.

#6

Visiting their “best friend” during the walk.

#7

The Guinness Magic

April 14, 2010

If you don’t know already, Guinness is famous for it’s “slide” recently.

Apparently, some bartender from a bar have poured a perfect, fresh pint of Guinness.

Then then slid it down, out the bar and through city streets and offices.

The Guinness arrives just in time to a “bold” employee who is in salary negotiations with his new boss.

Watch this if you haven’t.

.

.

But why so mafan wanna slide sooooooooooooooooooooooooo long and so far away!

.

.

I have recently discovered that i possess this  psychokineticthingamagic power that attracts good things to me. Instead of having someone “slide” the pint of Guinness to me, i can very well do it all by myself. read more

Hazakura ♥

April 10, 2010

Today is my last day in Tokoname! 8AM flight tomorrow T____T

#1

I feel that i am really super duper mega ultra lucky! Yesterday was so winter we had to switch on the heater and wear 4 layers. So cold i didn’t even bother dressing up to take picture.

But today was a family outing day and it was 21C. Warm till i had to take off my jacket.

#2

Throughout these 8 days, sakura was full bloom all the way.

#3

And today is the start of Hazakura, which means you can see a mix of green and pink on the sakura trees. read more

Hada Labo ♥ Mochi mochi

April 8, 2010

Mochi is the glutinous rice ball thingie.

Mochi mochi means skin so smooth, bouncy and mochi-like you want to pinch it (or, err, eat it). Every Japanese wants mochi mochi skin!

When i travel, i always the most important thing that i make sure i have in my luggage case is my moisturizer. (If i could i would even bring it with me on board because 7-hours flight in the cabin is enough to your skin prune like sour plum.)

And this time i have Hada Labo with me!

This is Hada Labo’s Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion. read more

Shiso mo tabete!

April 5, 2010

It is not until recently that i discovered that shiso is edible.

You know the thin leaf beneath those fat juicy pieces of sashimi? At first i thought it was just a decoration.

Until one day i went to a Japanese restaurant with TK and he wrapped a piece of hamachi with the green thingie, dipped the whole thing in soy sauce and ate it.

I just went O.o and thought it was gross.

Then he told me that shiso is actually very nutritious and said that i should eat it too. T___T

Then i discovered that it is also very very expensive. I once went to Isetan and saw 4 pieces of shiso selling for RM5.90 or something. Walao. Don’t eat also cannot already because that’s probably the reason why sashimi is so expensive so must worth every cent ok. T_T read more

Yakiniku Restaurant 烧烤馆

April 2, 2010

It’s been awhile since i wrote any food review!

Ever since i had Koyuki, i dine in pet-friendly restaurant 50% of the time. And my stomach is getting so sick of the same food. My #Porkgang (and the submembers #Doggang) have been looking for pet-friendly restaurant since forever, and this time we have added Yakiniku Restaurant to our #Doggang Nom Nom list.

Baby K on the way to their new favorite restaurant.

This is apparently very irrelevant but apparently this is my attempted casual spring look wtf. read more
