Japanese Toilet

January 30, 2009

is what the whole world needs.

Nah. Toilet post on demand. Reader Yan said  si = choy (shit = fortune) so it should be lucky to blog about it during CNY wor.

japanesetoilet6 by you.

There are two types of toilets in Japan. One is the Washiki (和式), traditional Japanese squat-toilet, and the other type is Youshiki (洋式)-modern toilet.

Today we will talk about the modern toilet. There are a few special features on their toilets. Some makes them one of the best things ever created for human and some are just plain bizarre. read more

Gochisosama

This is like a semi private entry, a food log of all the nice things i have tried during my Japan trip. Because it’s pretty boring (i post it just for my own reference. It’s nice memories), and some of the pic not too great, and way too many pictures, so i’m breaking this entry into two parts. In case everyone gets tulan while waiting for the pix to load.

You not sien meh?

January 27, 2009

Who the hell created CNY? I’m so bored. T_T

All my friends are also bored to different levels of death but we cannot do anything because we are like, all in different kind of places. Some sien in KL. Some sien in JB. Some sien in Kuching. And i’m sien in Seremban.

I finished reading American Gods. Now i’m feeling very disturbed. I try to blog abit and i find myself writing like him. I try to not get angry watching some of the local crap shows. Seriously, how do these artists survive when they only sing a few tong tong chiang songs every Chinese New Year? Then i realized i cannot not get irritated. So i try not to watch them after all.  read more

Happy Niu Year

January 25, 2009

I had to resist the temptation to type “Merry Christmas” into that title box. God knows I have been doing it for how many years already. But i reckoned i have to stop being so delusional!

And i’m listening to “It’s Snowing Slowly” by Starlite Chamber. Neh, the one in Oli’s video you all say very touching one. And i heard it snowed a lot a lot in Nara yesterday.

Talking about song, you know i listened to Eva Cassidy’s Songbird 37 times yesterday?  It’s a soundtrack from Love Actually. And i thought it sounded really familiar, but couldn’t make out which scene it is from. So i spent half an hour searching Youtube for it, and found out it is when Sarah and Karl’s intimate scene in the apartment! That’s my fav fav fav scene of Rodrigo Santorooooomgheissohot. You can watch it here.   read more

Japan Homestay

January 23, 2009

I know many of my readers are a little confused about my Japan trip. How come i get to travel to so many places and stay for so long? I feel the need to explain a little and also because many people have asked and i have not had the time to replied. Now once and for all.

It was like this. On the 16th December 2008, i went on a homestay program to Nagano for one week, and then joined the rest of the homestay students at Disneyland on the 23th, which is the last day of our Japan homestay. But i took a night bus from Disneyland all the way down to Nara, and stayed with TK for another 3 weeks, before my visa expired. read more
