Today Junya turns 3 months!

Every new month gives me a whole new feeling. (Wrote about his first month and second month here.)

I think by the third month, which is now,  i’m getting the hang of it XD. Everything we do now is less scary (yes, we. I’m less paranoid about explosive poo in my face during diaper opening and he is less afraid of his own mother trying to drown him lol), and i am enjoying it more and more each day.

Surprisingly, most of the things i wrote a month ago doesn’t even apply anymore! For example, I no longer need to put him on the dining table like a dish. And i also get to finish my dinner within 2 hours lolol. Although no.12 and no.13 still happens. XD read more

Today officially marks the 10th year of this blog.

I really have never thought that i could keep this blog for one whole decade. You can build a whole new city in 10 years plus a few extra space ships.

If it dies today, i think it has served me awesomely and it has no regrets (yea i control the way it feels lolol).

So every year i would click the archive and re-read my older blogniversary posts. I read last year’s post and i realized one thing.

I have been so happy for a year.

I mean, what can be happier than realizing that you have been happy, and are just going to continue to be happier? read more

Ok la i won’t say white ichigo is a super big deal, it tastes average yummy as with all Japanese strawberries, a tad milder but sweeter than the red ones. But still i cannot resist buying it every year. Just way too cute!

2014 Hanami Date #4

Today’s hanami date is with the danna!

He took a few days off to celebrate my birthday (although it isn’t the day yet), so we had a pre-birthday hanami date. (on my birthday itself we had another proper birthday hanami date HAHAHA talk about hanami overdose :P).

Chidorigafuchi （千鳥ヶ淵）

Chidorigafuchi is near the Imperial Palace. It is a little further from Shibuya, but it is actually at teh center of Tokyo and easily accessible by train. I saw on Sakura Forecast app that it was full bloom, and i always always wanted to be there, so we headed over and got down at the National Theatre as there was a sakura exhibition going on! read more

So i thought my love relationship with EMODA would sooner or later come to an end when i found out that i was gonna be a mommy.

But no! I was wearing EMODA pieces throughout my entire pregnancy (coordinate pictures here), it is amazing how there was a piece that would fit me at any stage of pregnancy, like magic!

And after Junya was born, i kind of had to dress all momsy (ahhhh all the restrictions you didn’t expect!) and say good bye to all the pretty but inconvenient tops (urgh breastfeeding), high heels/short skirts (while carrying a baby?!) and cute little bags (cannot fit milk bottles T__T). read more

I used Ginvera when i was 14!

My highschool best friend and i would go to The Store (the only supermarket in Seremban back then lol) and very excitedly let the sales staff try on the legendary “Ginvera Marvel Gel” on our hands and really marveled at the result: one side is much fairer and smoother than the other. And we were instantly sold. With our very limited pocket money lol.

Sooooo many years after, Ginvera still prides itself with its hero product, this time more advanced and with a twist! I was invited to witness a wedding by Ginvera last week. read more

At 7 months pregnant and running out of flattering clothes to wear, i became a Devoted Zombie to see sakura XD.

10 years ago when i started this blog, i was still in college rambling about assignments and boring lectures.

I would have never imagined that 10 years later i would be the me today. I was bored, pessimistic and perpetually emo and heartbroken. I was afraid unsure about the future and i was totally not looking forward to what’s down the road for me (10 years later? I would be OLD!).

But looking back now and reflecting all that has happened, i think it couldn’t have turned out any better. read more

Junya turned 2 months!

Which also means i have assumed the job as a mom for two months now. A job that you can never resign from until the day you die, no matter how the job sucks.

Although my employer doesn’t pay me a single cent, and would spit on me occasionally all the damn time, i find myself quite enjoy this new job.

A lot of people also have been telling me how envious they are that i make motherhood look so effortless. Well, all i can say is that do not trust things you see on Instagram (after all, there is this deception called “filter”). read more

Today the danna took a day off his super busy schedule so that we could go buy some baby products we needed. We wanted to get something from Combi so we went to Mid Valley.

We always wanted to try out Combi because it is a reliable and very popular brand in Japan. I didn’t even think of other brand options. We went straight to Combi and expected to get what we wanted.

Have you ever given up what you wanted to buy in a shop because the attitude of the shop staff suck SO MUCH?
