I dunno what’s gotten into me, but i just went and did the craziest thing to my hair at Chezz.

It’s called the Mermaid Perm. Or the Impulse Perm. Because you didn’t think twice before doing it. Well actually i did. I just didn’t believe i would actually do it.

I told a few friends i wanted to perm my hair and some of them were like DO ITTTTTT and some were NOOOOOOOO. The main reasons why i did it are

1. I had wanted the Mermaid Hair since forever! (like 2 days ago)

2. My hair looks like shit when i don’t tong it. Instead of tonging it every day i may as well get the  perm. (That’s what everybody thinks when their hair looks like shit) read more

actually i am super busy i am going out for a meeting in 20 minutes so initially this was gonna be just a boring style shot with plenty of pimps for minimaos but in the end i ended up editing more pictures than necessary!

if there’s any place on this planet where Aud and i can become a Japanese, it is Seoul.

I didn’t say that we want to become Japanese, but that was what we became, in Seoul.

In Japan, we are just some weird Japanese lookalike people speaking with a weird accent. In Malaysia, we are just weird. And in Seoul, we are effortlessly Japanese.

Especially in Myeong-Dong, it is hard to argue that we are not Japanese. I think they sort of judge what you are based on your hair color. We were like the blondest people on the streets (apart from real Caucasian blondes). And all the cosmetic store people could be speaking Korean or Chinese to some random passerby on the street, and when they spotted us they would auto convert and spoke to us in Japanese instead and it happens every time wtf. Aud and i could be speaking in English (or in this case, Manglish) and people can still think we are Japanese. Then when we try to explain that we are from Malaysia, they will be like, “oh, so you live in Malaysia? But where in Japan are you from?” wtf. read more

All my smoker friends know my death stare when they are puffing away. I don’t stop them from smoking but i will stare them down until they find a legitimate ciggie butt disposal  spot (although many argue that drains and all sort of surface that human can step or cannot step on and places beyond human sight are legitimate waste bin for cigarette butts in Malaysia). If i catch them hiding the ciggie butt underneath their sneakers on the ground i will do the death stare again until they pick it up and find a legitimate ciggie butt disposal  spot agreeable to my definition of a legitimate ciggie butt disposal. If they refuse to pick it up, i will pick it up and put it inside their pocket. read more
