Well if you expect more photos then you will be disappointed. Because i had to wake up 5.30am to catch the flight and celebrate another half of Xmas day in Malaysia.
Ya i know i’m such a concheese. Hehe…
Ok ok don’t sulk. At least i still have something for you. =)

What you expect la, it’s 5am-ish!

But mom is as genki as usual, she is so used to waking up before 5am!

Eh what is this???

Ah, seems like we can’t catch the hotel breakfast at this time so they prepared breakfast boxes for us instead! How considerate!
Then i zzzzzzzzzed all the way back to Malaysia. Eh no, i actually did a little something. =))
*shy*
As I am writing this
You might still be deep asleep
I look outside the window
And see a sea of snow
Traveling through the city of clouds
Listening to Hayley sing her heart out
Staring into the deep blue sky
Seeking for the lost paradise
Here be that the angels came
A Christmas celebration amongst the heavenly plane
Farewell Taipei
Just wish a little longer I could stay
=)
Written on China Airline at 9amish
And the first thing i did after landing?
Why! Reply your message! =D
See how good i treat you la. =D

Day 4 we did some sight seeing (and more eating, you’ll witness) since we I had been shopping 3 days in a row.
This place is called Dan Shui, about 18 stations away from where we stayed.

Just got down from MRT

It was still empty now. You’ll see the crowd getting in

By the river

Horsey!!!

Just love taking pic with horsies =)

Just a couple of hours later, the crowd was like 100fold

Alot of youngsters were sitting by the river side sketching and drawing. Taiwanese so artsy-fartsy? Romantic nya!

Eat eat eat! Some sweet potato snack, and reeeeally naish!!

So nice i can’t stop eating!

Food food food

Some fruits and marshmallow-in-chocolate-dip snack. Perfect for the manja-manjaish Taipei girls. =)

Guess what? This is Doraemon’s fav food!

So you tried chicken skewer. Egg skewer?
What else is nice to eat here? Apparently everybody recommended this restaurant that makes “Age” (read:Ah-gay) so we went.
Holy cheese.
It’s a 3-floor restaurant and it was FULL HOUSE. We had to wait for people to leave their seats, something like what you do in Penang for the char kuey teow. And it was soooooooo packed and it seemed like my expensive dress would be spilled and decorated with the juicy Age stuffing anytime.
So you are wondering how nice the age could be to attract soooo many people?
You really wanna know?
Ok
here it is:

These are ALL they have in the restaurant, pricing NT25 per dish.

And this is what contributes to the FULL HOUSEness. Fried Toufu with grass noodle stuffing swimming in some saucy gravvy.
Riiiiiiiiight. I’m not telling you too. Come come to Taipei! =D
Anyway. more walking after food. And guess what i discovered?

Lolitas in Dan Shui.

This is the Loliest Loli i’ve seen in Taipei. Kirei!
And also….

Doggies doggies doggies!!

This dog is huge but extremely well-groomed. His fur is ultra shiny and healthy. Like a celebrity dog!

So how can i miss the chance to be photographed with a celebrity? =P
And OMC you never know how many celebrities you will meet in Taipei.
Cheese this out…

She’s got her hair dyed purple!!!
*edits* Noticed how i always bumped into “celebrities” overseas and requested a photo taken? Check the links out:
Celeb A in Shanghai
Celeb B in Shanghai
Celeb C in Seoul
You will hunt for chun chix when you come to Taipei. But how does a doggie hunt for chix? Oooops, i mean, bitches… Erm, wrong. Ok girl friend alright.

And then we discovered this really lovely park.

Awwww lovey-dovey…
Some other landscape pix in Dan Shui.

Tired of walking… so eat again!

Dan Shui’s famous Tie Dan—literally “iron egg”

By sunset, we headed back to the hotel. But before that let’s see the sunset in Dan Shui…

Finally we did some sight-seeing today, so scrap that Supa-Shopaholic-Cheese title off me. Oh wait, i actually love the title. I’m keeping it. LOL.
And boleh tahan kan, my photography skill? *giggles smugly* ^_^
Chilled in the hotel for awhile, until…… i was hungry again.
I was craving for, of all the things in Taipei, Mc Donald’s!!!
But before your “what, are you crazy come all the way to taipei to eat Mc D” remark, lemmi tell you what.
Taipei’s Mc Ds H-A-V-E R-I-C-E B-U-R-G-E-R!!!

And hor, look at the “content”. It is as good as the cover. You think O.R Fillet Burger in KFC Malaysia meh, not even half the size of what you see in the ads. Or did i miss the super tiny “size enlarged to show texture” line? *eyes rolling emo*

So it’s burger that made my Day 4 cheesarifically cheeseful again!!!! Now you know what my fav food is in Taipei. =D
And also again, some bonus:

Creative escalator design

101 at night. See the Xmas trees?

Xmas tree in town

And the Xmas traffic

Xmas car!!!
Of course, Merry Xmas to everyone of you!!!
Stay cheesed for the final Day 5. =D

We learnt something after Day 2: Get up, eat your breakfast, then sleep again. But make sure you don’t oversleep. =P

Grabbing a cuppa on the way! It is Pudding Milk Tea today. =P

On the way to Wu Fen Pu

Here we are

By the time we got to Wu Fen Pu, it was just a good time to shop. =)

Gosu Loli shop!

They have more of Punk Loli than other Lolis.

More Putumayo style

Check out that little pink crown! I wanted that but the owner said it is not “wearable” because they used thumbtacks to secure it on the mannequin!! But i don’t wanna end up the way Parie did in House of Wax… 0_o

Nevermind lor. DIY lor…
*edits* BTW. Everyone in Taipei thought i was wearing hair extensions. This dude asked if my hair is real. I was like WTC of course it is. Then he said if he ever sees anyone with hair THIS long in Taipei, it MUST be hair extension.
Okay, so Where’s Natalie Portman already? She hasn’t returned my call…

Spotted a Punk Loli here. And i’m sure SHE is wearing some hair extension.
Went to Shi Lin Night Market again in the evening. Apparently there are yet so many places for us to explore. For one the Shi Lin Food Court. It is super crazy. It’s a whole mall of food!!! i have never seen so much foooooooood in my life. It is a bit scary, imagine trying all of them. You prolly need like 2 months to try out everything half the food there. 0_o

Then the pet shop, where if you stand put in front of the glass for one minute you will hear the phrase “好可爱哦~~~~” (That’s so cute~~~)over and over and over again, for 36 times.

“Ah i smell cheese!”

Guess what is this for?

This cubicle hor, is a recording studio for Jolin or Jay Chao wannabes. You pay, you sing, your songs get recorded and burnt into a CD, with YOUR handsome or pretty face on the CD cover i think. (Can’t imagine Mr Hello Kitty Pretty Boy’s reaction if i tell him about this. He’ll prolly go like “OMG when is the next flight to taipei?” LOL)
And more foooood…

It is…….

In case you don’t read chinese, it is squid ink squid sausage. It’s yummy!

You see all these weird stuff everywhere. Mom won’t try any of them for NT1000 and i don’t wanna stuff myself like Yong Tau Fu so next time lor.
Some city night view in Shi Lin

BTW
They say you have not gone to Xi Men Ding if you havent tried the Ah Chung Mee Sua there. So yes i went there again, 2nd time. JUST for the mee sua.
Because i don’t want to be a loser. ;P

There’s no table/chair whatsoever. And they sell ONLY mee sua and mee sua alone. Everbody just lines up, orders (big or small bowl),pays, grabs a bowl, looks for a place to stand (sometimes it is so crowded you feel as if you are among a bunch of starving inmates) , gulps gulps gulps, gobbles gobbles gobbles, ciaos.

Naish? Nah. I’m not telling you. Go try yourself! *chuckles*
And chang chang chang!!! This is my biggest trophy of the day!!

A decent kaftan top for freaking NT100! =DDD (And boy is the quality good! Mom says the amount of cloth used is worth more than that oredi)
Same thing, stay cheesed for Day 4!! =D

Today is a lucky day!
Day 2 has most pictures and some of the best! =)
I know i was not supposed to wake up so early on Day 2, but having been to Singapore and picked up some of its kiasuness, we cannot let the breakfast coupons go to waste so 8.30am and we were all ready for breakfast.

Going to the restaurant

Mom and her usual veggggies, and me and my cheeeeese. LOL

We decided to go to Xi Men Ding today, but it was only 9+am after breakfast and most of the shops in Taipei only open after 11am. But what should we do in such a lovely morning? The hotel front desk suggested the Wedding Street, but it’s a bit too far to walk so we headed to the MRT going to Xi Men Ding anyway.

Reaching Xi Men Ding.

BUT!
As expected…

Finally, shops started to open after 11am. And everyone here i come!

Time for a lil tea break. Milk Tea that is.

Whoa it was actually half a cup of milk tea , and half a cup of pearls!
After Xi Men Ding we were going to….

Tadaaaaa…

101 Day time

101 Night time

New York New York, opposite 101

Heading back to hotel before sunset. The cab passed by a Mos so we decided to get down and grab a bite.

Mos in Taipei!!
Little did we know that…

This is the Mos Xmas Special Seafood Organic Rice burger
That this is…

is…

THE BEST THING I’VE EVER EATEN IN TAIPEI!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheesus Crust! It was so so so much better than any other burgers. The bestest burger i’ve ever eaten in my cheesy life. @_@
Mom didn’t believe how nice a burger could be. So…

Tasting the Hash Brown

And the best thing…

Mos Burger made my Day 2 cheesefully cheesaricfic! =D
Just a little bonus, a nice night view in Taipei City…

So stay cheesed for Day 3!!! =)

With mommy dearest, making sure we brought the passports, hehe

Flying China Airline @ 3.15pm
And finally…
Reaching Santos Hotel, 9pm local time.

The only place that was still open at night around the place we stayed is Shi Lin Night Market. What the heck i’m in Taipei, so let’s go wherever i could go!!

Taking MRT from Min Chuen Xi Lu Station

For a moment i thought she was Yanzi, then i thought she was Fiona Xie, but found out that she actually is Yanzi. =)

This plastic surgery ad is everywhere in Taipei. Wonder why Taipei chix look hot? =)

Kawaii!!!
At Shi Lin Night Market
There’s this thingie called the “Crazy Catch”, which your mom will tell you “Aiyeh, dun waste money, cheat people wan la” but it’s really hot in Taipei and it is everrrrrrywhere!!

Look at their toys man, and compare with the ones in Miss-and-Mr-Lala-Plaza. No wonder it’s so tempting la.
And hor, here come the puppies!!!

Kawaii ne? But check this out. It’s selling everywhere too!

Think only YOU need to pan leng leng? =P
And also, don’t forget the fooooooood!!

Taiwan pearl milk tea chain

Fresh fruits. But i think the fruits we bought at this stall were way overpriced. But what the heck i miss those persimmons!

Some pasar malam delicacy

The (in)famous Stinky Toufu!!
Now lets look at the fashion…

This place sells LeSportsac pasar malam version. Cheap and nice!

This place sells all the kinky bedroom wear, however kinky you could imagine… *chuckles emo*
AND I FOUND SOMETHING I SOOOO WANTED!!!
Okay before you think i’m cheesily perverted, check these out.

French maid, Kogyaru, Sailor, Erotic Kimono, and Bunny Playboy costume!!!!! *pengsan emo*

The first day (night) in Taipei was extremely productive. =D
And hor, i curi-curily snapped a lot of pix in places where taking photos is not allowed just to show you how lovely Taipei is. See how good i treat you la! When you belanja makan heh? =P

I’m sorry peeps for not replying your Xmas messages, because Hotlink’s roaming rate is freaking crazy!! I pre-loaded RM200+ and it was almost gone by the third day. One sms cost a freaking RM2, which means I will have like RM50 deducted from my credit if I reply all of you.
That’s the reason why you got my late reply, which saves me RM47.50. But it was still Xmas, wasn’t it? =)
Anywee, Taipei is grrrrrrrreat! Before you get dizzy with all the photos I’m gonna post, lemmi summarize my Taipei trip in 10 observations.
1. China Airline played Hayley Westenra’s new album on the plane! Which makes the 4 hours 20 mins flight peacefully pleasant.
2. Taipei’s winter is warm. Surprisingly Xmas eve was the warmest. It was 20°C in the afternoon, and about 16°C at night. I could just wear a tank top and mini seriously. But that would make me look like a lunatic from PJ who got strayed in Taipei. So where’s my furry coat?
3. I saw Jolin Tsai and Chi Ling everywhere! Nah I’m just kidding. But seriously, chun chix are everywhere in Taipei. It’s easier to spot a chun chick with holes in her socks than to spot an Emmentaler cheese with holes on its body.
4. Furthermore, they really know how to make themselves look best, with hair extensions, eye lash extensions, and impeccable make up.
5. Speaking of make up, I just lurrrrrrrve winter. I could do my make up 9am in the morning and come back 10pm with the make up intact. Even the mascara won’t smear a bit! No more looking like China’s most precious animal after a whole day shopping spree.
6. Girls in Taiwan speak so manja manjaly. The pretty flight attendant would say “不好意思哦, 番茄汁没有了耶~~” with a loooong drag on the “耶”; and the shop assistants will all say “要进来看哦, 买要快哦~~” Actually, not only girls, all the obaasans also speak the same manja manja way! LOL.
7. Taipei peeps are so disciplined. When you see anyone standing on the left side (speed lane) of the escalator, you know he/she is a Malaysian. During rush hours, you even have to queue to get onto the escalator! And also, when we walked in Shi Lin night market, everybody was looking at us strangely, because there’s such thing as “walking on the wrong side at the pasar malam” in Taipei! When you walk “into” the market, you walk on the left. And on the way out, you walk on the right. Something to learn, Petaling Street!
8. You see a lot of young couples pushing a buggy car on the street. No, Taipei folks don’t get married and have babies extra young. Just that, doggies in Taipei are so damn spoilt! All the doggies wear fancy winter clothing, get their hair dyed, sit in a buggy…. Even stray dogs get to wear something. *imitates Taipei chix* 台北的狗狗真的好幸福哦~~~
9. Think KL is the heaven of food? Think again! Even the food in convenient stores (which can be found 10 steps away from wherever you stand) is extra delicious!
10. Service in Taipei is also extra good. Sales assistant won’t look as if you just spilled stinkacheese ink on her face when you walked away from the shop without buying anything after she explained to you in great details for 20 minutes. Cab drivers are professional. They chat with you non-stop and fill you with all kinds of information (provided you speak decent mandarin) till he gets you to your destination. And, no gov tax or service charge in restaurants!
Now, just wait for the soon-to-come photos!! =D

I finally got back my CF card and managed to finish this ultimate Goli Party entry before going off to Taiwan. See how good i treat you la. *chuckles*
It was a charity fashion show featuring some celebrities, as well as a mini gathering for all Lolitas in town.
Me and Aki really went all out for this big night. All the shopping and buying tickets beforehand, and on that very day, making sure our camera batteries were fully charged, sufficient memory for a mountain full of photos, getting dressed in full Loli costumes and hours of make-up-kao-kao. I know i promised you a series of eye-dazzling Golis, especially since you also know that i’ve gone for the first ever Goli party and are expecting more Golis. But i need to suspend those party photos for a while because of some mistake i made. I’ll tell you why later.
BUT.
I’m gonna give you something anyway. =)
You will witness the post-goli photos. Aki stayed at my place after the party and on Sunday we came back to Seremban together. Well not exactly together since we both drove seperately. But still, together la.
See how together-getherish we are, even our beloved babies!

Aki’s Snow white (Xiao Bai) and Cheesie’s Black Beauty (Parmie).
Arent they a perfect match? If Xiao Bai is male, Parmie is gonna marry him. If Xiao Bai is a babe, Parmie is gonna turn lesbian. LOL.
Brunch at Maroon.
Anyway. Back to the reason why i can’t post my party golis…
Look at that. Obviously i didn’t wanna hold the camera casing to look lame so i put it on the table beside me. But it was still captured in the pic anyway. LOL.
But guess what, i left it there and i left it there forever. I only noticed that when i got back to Seremban. Inside the casing there’s this CF card which has all the Goli party pix. Hence the suspension of the Goliest photos.
But fret not. I called and they will keep the casing until i go back for it. Thanx to my frequent visits to Maroon!
Anywee, we were just so posey that day. Aki’s first visit to my house and a pic for remembrance.
Or two… =)
Ahh or three, LOL.

Doesn’t this look familiar? This is the Parie Special pose ala Confession of An Heiress Wahaha.
Before Aki flew off with her Xiao Bai. =P

First of all i can’t say this movie is bad because the scenery is awesome. The winter, the spring, and the autumn at the end of the movie. And i always enjoy watching movies with great scenery.
Still, let me tell you why it only got a 6 from me. FYI, i gave two points extra for the special effect.
1. Narnia is a so-called children film. And it’s (mainly) about war. But i don’t fancy the whole concept of this film, because there is no such thing as children war film. The fantasy element is okay, but if you wanna do a war film, do it like Taegukgi, which left me taegukgized for a whole week. If not, stick to the typical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. For Narnia, they can’t show a single drip of blood because children are watching it. And the only “bloody injuries” you ever see in the entire movie was dried blood on Edmund’s lower lip, and a tiny cut above Peter’s right eyebrow. The battle is made forcibly violent to be called a “battle”. In my opinion, it fails to cater for neither kids nor adults.
2. The kids can’t act. ESPECIALLY Lucy (Georgie Henley). I don’t know why they use her. She is not cute enough, and remember i say this: 10 years later she will do botox (or something better in the future) for a cheek reduction ala Hilary Duff for vanity sake. She looks excited when she is happy, and excited when she is scared, and excited when she is sad. I think acting is just so exciting for her. LOL. Her expressions are so funny you have to guess whether she is actualy smiling or about to cry.
3. The dialogs are dumb. Jokes are extremely lame and sarcasms don’t even sound remotely sarcastic, especially Lucy’s. Her lines just don’t sound logical for a girl her age. That makes her super fake. I really wonder if those lines are taken from the original book. If they are, i think the book sucks too.
4. I hate the part where Lucy was given the magical potion which cures all illness/injuries (Thank Cheeseness it’s not death). I knew she was gonna use that on one of her brothers at the end. I was just sitting through the entire show for that golden moment of her taking out that potion. And she was so stingy to give only one teeny weeny drop for the dying Edmund. What a sister.
5. Susan is freaking useless. She only shot ONE arrow during (i think it’s not even during, it is AFTER) the battle, although she is very much an untrained archer.
6. The revival of the lion was WTFish. Nuff said.
7. This bothers me the most. So Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy have become Kings and Queens of Narnia. How is that even possible? Let’s ignore the double Kings and Queens (you think you playing Poker ah?). But aren’t the Queens married to the Kings? And if they are, wouldn’t that be the most ridiculous incest of the century? And the four kids are the ONLY HUMAN BEINGs in the entire Narnia Kingdom. How are they suppose to survive? I mean, they actually stayed in Narnia for about, let’s say 15 or 20 years, without keeping in touch with any human beings at all?! So they became adults, and do they like, date each others and get married and have babies? If let’s say they aren’t having incestuous relationships… OMC Cheesus Crust!!! Now i understand where all the human-beasts in Narnia came from. So Faun Tumnus‘s mother was prolly a human and the father a goat. Or vice versa. And then Peter, Susan Edmund and Lucy will prolly have Centaurs, Satyrs or even Human-Beaver kids in the future. ROFL. Ok enough. I’m drunk.
8. Wait wait wait, one more. How the *bleep* did Lucy’s hair go curly out of a sudden when she was crowned the Queen? They bring electronic hair curler ka?
The story is just bloody predictable enough. Okay, i can’t exactly use the word bloody cause it’s just so not bloody. LOL. Fine.
Having said that, there are several things i love bout this movie though, apart from the super scenery.
1. The special effect no doubt.
2. The White Witch’s costumes! Cheez i simply love’em, especially the last Lion Mane costume during the battle. So elegantly wild. LOL. And the witch herself is gracefully evil. My fav character. =)
3. The final sountrack was naish!
Err, i think thats about it.
P/S: I finally got Enya’s new album!!!! Hooray but Duh!

This is my first ever studio photo shoot when I was 14 years old. I went there with my then and now best bud Ichigo. Come to think of it now, it was really funny. Studio photo packages then were so popular, and we were one of the first in our high school to own a studio photo album. How proud! We went there during the end of school holiday because that time our hair was the longest ( I know it is damn sad, we couldn’t keep hair an inch longer than our eyebrow and once the back touched the white T collar, we’re doomed to die under the cruel pair of scissors in the hand of Guru Disiplin. And I’ve at least kena-ed 3 or 4 times).
(And now you know the traumatic story behind my obsession with super long hair. I haven’t cut it since graduation.)
Much to our dismay, the studio was so full even though we’d made an early appointment and we expected to be the only ones during the session. There were two other poster-girl-wannabes so the entire shoot went topsy-turvy. When I was changing, Ichigo went to pose. When she was done, I ran to the camera. And the photographer was shouting “Next!” and “Next!” as if she was taking photos of some criminal suspects.
Anywee, things are much more different 7(and a half)years later. I didn’t know I was gonna do another Santarina. =)

I don’t mean to be a rotten braggart but I’ve been dreadfully photogenic since I was young.
BUT!

Can you tell the difference? I mean besides the coca cola can la.
The major difference is, in the left pic I am wearing a wig. And in the right pic my real hair is actually longer than the wig.
But then again, looking at the pictures, I just realized that I’ve gained so much weight!
I had have baby fat!! In fact, the older I am, the babyfatter I am!!!! *slaps face emo*
Cheesus Crust, check out that face. It was perfect mango shape last time. And now it became an obese apple. I think I got myself the wrong name, seriously. I should have called myself Mango instead of Apple. But heck, that name sounds vulgar in jap. So whatever. *slaps face harder emo*

Anywee, I’ve something better for you. But hush hush!!
Ichigo is not here, so I can do whatever I want. Muahaha.

I woke up 4am’ish and I just wanted to write (type) something. Although I was told to sleep waaay longer than this. I’m sorry. =(
Seems like my biological clock is cheesed-up and when i try to sleep more, i actually wake up ealier and earlier instead. Cheez that should happen 40 years later man. Ditto to the hair loss.
I was thinking about the way I’ve been spending my holidays. Actually I’m quite happy with it and I think this is the most productive least unproductive holiday so far. I did nothing much but I am feeling less empty deep inside.
I’ve had some little holiday out of the holidays for myself, and it’s great. But happy time does fly and I think it’s time for me to return to my cage.
It feels great to be away from the college (I still don’t think I wanna call it a uni) and I feel so much more relaxed. Hopefully I drop less hair now. Haha.
I’ve been thinking a lot after talking to Sky and Jac few weeks ago. I’ve been thinking what those A1s in my SPM are for. Sure they got me a full scholarship in a fancy college of my desire. But it turned out the scholarship is not so full after all and the college is much less fancy than I expected. In fact, little did I realize the price to pay for studying in such a seemingly glamorous uni college is way too high for me.
But I didn’t regret a single bit, because I don’t think I will be happier if I study something else or elsewhere. Just I wonder sometimes, I’ve been dreaming too much rather than thinking. I don’t think I even think at all. I dream too much and assume too much, that’s prolly the problem with me. Maybe that’s also why I got heartbroken umpteen times. I’m not exceptionally smart to think to save the heartbreaks.
It’s okay. I’ve got a way to fool with heartbreaks now. And I’ve learnt it a hard way. But at least I learnt something.
And what the cheese, I’m going for a real holiday again! Taiwan Taiwan! =)))
Ahhh, time to get more sleep. I’ll try.
