It’s been a long way and after so many months of taking care of myself, it was finally time we prepared for the Arrival Day : setting up the Baby’s Room.

I am officially in my full term pregnancy now, which also means the baby is going to give us a surprise any day any time now!

37 weeks.

We are totally not the crazy baby shopping type who spend 3 hours in Toy’R’us at 3 month pregnant. :X

The danna has this “you never know what you don’t need until you bought them” approach when it comes to baby lol. He suggested buying just one kimono wrap for the baby which he can wear until 5 years old wtf. And for me i was just too relaxed to bother about checking off the baby shopping list. read more

We have a kick-ass kitchen in our new house, so we can spend more time cooking and eating at home when the baby arrives!

First thing i made is oden!!

Cooked a massive pot so we can eat for 2 days 2 nights XD

How can i not love oden! So healthy and easy and also for the diet-conscious, it’s super low calorie!

Also made Yaki Udon and lotus root with ume boshi. A random mix but turned out quite good 😛

The pregnant mom get-together workshop i blogged about earlier!

I thought i should sign up for one of those antenatal classes provided by the hospital before giving birth, but the timing didn’t fit my schedule. I’m so glad Yakult was holding this workshop for all the expecting mommies (and dads), young moms and couples who are planning a family!

It was a afternoon session and of course we have our welcome drinks!

Hello!

So you read my post on my new Casio ZR1200 camera review, actually that’s not all! I have yet to talk about my favorite function of the camera.

So, what if sometimes you want to capture more than just a picture? Sakura is beautiful and all that, but what if it could be more than that?

ZR1200 has the usual video/movie function of course, but what i want to show you today, is “TL”, also called the Time Lapse mode in ZR1200.

What does it do?

To put it simply, instead of a video, it snaps a picture at a fixed interval of your preference, and then combine all the pictures into a movie clip. read more

Had to finally come back from Japan cuz i couldn’t miss such an exciting party! Flew back in the morning and went straight to the event venue.

I was a Sweet Rose, so i dressed (it’s so hard to find clothes that still can fit!!) in pastel floral and black essences for the neogal edginess ♡.

Make up was also pink-themed

So few days laters Xiaxue and QiuQiu flew to Tokyo and we managed to meet up during dinner at one of the best sushi places in Ginza!

Haven’t seen them for soooo long since i last went to Singapore.

All excited to see the babybump in real life lol.

What’s better than being selected as the ambassador for the tourism project of your favorite country?

Promoting Japan tourism is like my life calling so it’s really cool that finally i’m doing it officially for Cool Japan, a project by Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI).

Sorry this post is like 2 months outdated, but during my stay in Tokyo, i spent a few days with other Cool Japan ambassadors from other countries like Taiwan and Thailand. They also invited QiuQiu and Xiaxue from Singapore but we had different schedule but i was so happy to meet them in some mutual activities and events! read more

“You will pack me to your new haos?”

Anyway.

Boring haos update again. It’s really 没完没了. The moment i finished vacuuming for one hour, the ikea people came and all my effort went down the drain T_____T.

Also i haven’t updated anything substantial (if there was ever anything like that) on blog/instagram for days simply because there was nothing interesting to talk about. I dress like a contractor every day running sweaty errands non-stop. I’m not very sure if any of you want to hear about me applying for apartment cooking gas or look at the picture of my new broom. read more

So we finally moved in to our new place!

As soon as we came back from Japan there were a million things to take care of, i was occupied to a new level i never thought i was possible to reach, especially 8 months pregnant.

And actually lost weight for moving around so much.

So after one week of crazy packing we finally made the big move. There isn’t even much furniture cuz we were in such a hurry to move in first.

I was also totally oblivious to the whole Chinese Pantang thing (until someone reminded me about it and i was like oh yea hor), where you cannot move house when you are pregnant. Wait, not just cannot move house, but if i remember correctly you are not allowed to move any furniture or even decorate your bedroom wall or something like that.
