Stupid Monkey

December 22, 2006

Pun of the day:
Here’s a smonkey.

I remember mom once told me about this monkey who smokes. Mom wanted me to go together with her to this little orchard somewhere in Seremban and see this unusual creature so that i can blog about it.

But i’ve been very very busy lately to the point that I could hardly even find time to go back Seremban to visit her. Even if i do see her, i can merely spend a few hours, let alone to see some stupid monkeys who can’t spell “bad breath” and “lung cancer”. read more

Drop me some cheese!

December 20, 2006

Pun of the day:
The best way to communicate with a fish is to drop them a line.

The best way to communicate with a mutated bunny is to, what else but drop her some cheese!

Oh yea. I have removed “Cheese-a-Cheese” Holler because it’s giving me lotsa problems. In replacement, I’ve created this page where you can:

1. Leave your droppings.

A lot of Cheeserland visitors drop by like sliding ghosts. You can’t see them but they leave foot prints on the counter. If you haven’t commented before, cheese a word or two to say hi, (i wanna know how it feels to be greeted by ghosts!!!666), and let me know what kinda color and shape and texture are the droppings that a ghost leaves! read more

Fashion Up!

December 17, 2006

Look at these and you will know why i’m so fashionably busy with my Wardrobe.

My friend Charlyce, whose job is to travel all the time and import clothings from Hong Kong and Japan, is someone who will never be seen dead in the same clothes twice. These are what she came up with for Cheesie’s Wadrobe. Most of her clothes are worn only once, whereas some are totally brand new. All these are exclusively imported and cannot be found anywhere in Malaysia.

Charlyce carefully drafted out all the details for each of the items. read more

Blue Xmas, Xmas blues

December 13, 2006

Pun of the day:
I feel the Christmas blues…

null

Last week i was feeling the blues. My plan to go Taipei for Xmas didn’t materialize because i am so very very busy can die. Just like the pre-whatever-syndrome, seems like i can develope PXS too. Or Pre Xmas Anxiety.

Anxious about it coming too fast, afraid that it passes too soon, worry about not feeling it, fret the drink-drank-drunk sessions, and fear the Xmas loneliness.

Nevertheless, a shopping trip to The Curve made my day.

I always love The Curve’s Christmas deco. Last year, they had Golden Christmas which i think was the best in town. This year, they didn’t fail me either. read more

The hunkies and hotties gorge us to death!

How often do you get to meet 25 gorgeous hunks and 25 24 gorgeous girls?

🙂

Plus celebrities…

And guess who was there?

null
Someone who is self-professed gorgeous.

KennyTheSia!

Davina was overjoyed when she saw him.

This dude i tell you, dunno what’s with his handphone luck. He went on stage and played some games where the first who collects all five items (a handphone strap, a water bottle, a white watch, a condom and a something-else) gets a prize. And he freaking won it. read more

Japan is a candy paradise

December 7, 2006

Pun of the day:
A boy asked his mum whether he could eat sweets yet. She replied “can-dy”

Sze Kerng just recently visited Tokyo and here’s what he brought back, prepare yourself for a feast of JapaCandy.

So sweet of him to bring back all the candies and choccie for his friends!

Do you feel Christmas?

December 5, 2006

I don’t.

This is One Utama.

The decos are up, Christmas songs are played, Gingerman cookies are sold, people are wearing Santa’s hats. But i. can’t. feel. it.

I just can’t. 🙁

With all of these christmasy neccesities, it just somehow feels…… fake.

It’s like, eh? WTF are the Christmas trees doing here?

Maybe time really flies and i can’t accept the fact that Christmas is around the corner again.

I adore Christmas.

I don’t know much about the story and origin behind it, i don’t know why turkey is served with cranberry sauce and why you can’t reject a kiss from a person who stands under the mistletoe with you, i don’t even know the proper ways to celebrate it. But i just love Christmas. read more

Haunted

December 3, 2006

Pun of the day:
I’m a masocheese 🙁

Sometimes i really do feel like one.

i’m so used to being lost i think i become uneasy when i don’t find myself feeling depressed to a certain degree.

Took a stroll down memory lane unintentionally, and it brought me back to a whirlpool of emoness. I’m so nostalgic that it becomes a little annoying.

I often, intentionally or otherwise, revisit things that i should have long put behind, and get haunted by the lingering ghosts of my past. Things which i should have trashed away or burned down to ashes long ago, and let the memory slip away. Instead, i keep them so neatly in a safety box ala the dead man’s chest in Carrots of the Currybean. And i take a peek at them every now and then. Could easily avoid it, but instead i get an urge to look back at times. It’s more than just reminiscing. I seem to do it to get myself haunted, forever. read more

Ozeki Tokyo Cuisine

November 30, 2006

Ozeki Tokyo Cuisine @ Menara TA1, Jalan P. Ramlee, KL

The fusion of Japanese food with western style and presentation. How would this hybrid of culinary passion turn out? Take a look for yourself 😉

Bitter gourd and dried Bonito flakes

This lil’dish caught me off guard gourd, as it was surprisingly crunchy and refreshing, not what I was expecting it to be! Which is a good thing 😉

Sea urchin served in between scallops with salmon roe.

The taste of the scallop was very fresh, however i personally didn’t quite like the taste of sea urchin. Kinda spoilt it for me.. read more

Somo Single’s Night Party

November 28, 2006

Pun of the day:
Those who are single-minded on making new friends turned up for the party that night.

JoyceTheFeriFeri wrote about the event so i’ll just provide pictures.

And i’ll damn well make sure you regret not going to the party. 😀

My first party post that has something to do with alco. It’s as good as Joyce writing about a thorough study into the effect that certain smells of cheeses have on the well-being of chess players. But Cheesus Crust was the crowd huge.

In Joyce’s words: So happening gila babi can die dot com dot my.

Those days

November 26, 2006

Just some super random old photos i found in my 30GB gallery.

I could have said so much about them.

But i can’t exactly say anything about them.

Credits to Ching for some of the photos.

And yes it’s upside down.

And yes it’s rotated 90 degrees.

I was a table lamp.

I was a, erm, horny cheese?

My nails were short then. They grew, i cut. They grew, and i cut again.

My hair was longer. It grew, i trimmed. It grew, and i trimmed again.
