Is where i am right now. My 5th day. Based on the information (or the lack thereof) on its wikitravel entry, i have managed to force myself to expect non-princess treatment during the trip.

When you downgrade your expectation tolike, 20% out of the whatever 100% you imagined in the first place, you feel pretty safe about it. Surely it couldn’t be that bad, you thought to yourself. I remember back in college day we had to do a lot of assignments that were based on Australian syllabus (from Curtin). It was quite tragic because there were so irrelevant i had absolutely no idea how to do it except to refer and extract and paraphrase information from the internet, as plagiarism was simply not a wise option. 😉

Sorry for the bird shit in this photo. Well, shit happens. Especially in Perth. There’s a higher change you will get wet by bird shit than rain. Turfing seagulls (i’m not sure if that makes an accidental pun. maybe not).

Thanks to Air Asia, i visited Australia for the first time. Flora, Derrick and I flew Air Asia X, the world’s first low-cost long-haul airline to Perth.

It was very funny. I had the absolute priviledge to be invited by Heineken to go on a heli ride around Kuala Lumpur together with HB. So happened on that day right, i had to attend an event for a paid advertorial. And the time clashed. So i was seeking advice from my friends.How la. Dilemma. Money or free chopper ride?

I’m traveling to Indonesia next week courtesy of Air Asia again. I travel average 1.5 times a month now and i think i kind of need a break from traveling, which is really ironic because traveling is how i get a break from everything else.

My feelings towards Skype is magnificently contradictory.

I love it with abundant gratitude, because without it i think i would have been single by now, or considered taking personal loan to pay off my phone bills, or gone nuts.

At the same time i loathe it with great bitterness, because everytime i use it, it reminds me of the fact that i am in a long distance relationship.

The three words or three letters that make me cringe everytime it floats across my head.

Ok if you don’t know Vfest already, it stands for Virgin Mobile Festival, a music festival held in UK, Australia and the states. The trip is sponsored by Air Asia to promote this event as well as the Air Asia X flight to Perth and other attractions in Perth.

Was a huuuuuuge event. 90,000 tickets sold throughout Sydney, Melb, Gold Coast and the last stop, Perth. They have 4 stages, called This Stage, That Stage, The Other Stage and the Virgin Mobile Stage. I mean, oh well, i didn’t expect naming a concert has to come to this stage… read more

Ironic, because i’m still in Perth. Flying back tomorrow 6am i wanna die. So sleepy. Too busy to update so this is a pre-written post about Tokyo.

On Day 6, i woke up at 6am in the morning as i had to catch the 8am train back to Shinjuku, Tokyo.

This was the last meal i had in Yuriko’s house.

And the last time i had her mentaiko topping on rice. T_T

It was a cold morning. Yuriko sent me to Matsumoto train station.

Sent me all the way into the train.

And we had to part at the station. Those are other student’s host family. Everyone got teary-eyed. Most of them were sobbing in the train after the train had left. read more
