So for our last day in Tokyo, we were deciding between Ueno Zoo and Ghibli Museum.
I love zoo! But i was so so so glad that i made a visit to Ghibli Studio! The museum is located in Inokashira Park in Mitaka, it is a suburb area of Tokyo. And who anyone who loves Miyazaki’s work, i strongly recommend the visit! Remember that you have to buy your ticket beforehand (just go to any convenient store and buy at the ticket machine), if not you won’t be able to get into the museum.

At about 6pm, mom called to tell me that my uncle is very sick. He’s in the hospital now and in a coma. He probably doesn’t have much time left.
The first thing that was registered in my mind was, finally, it happened. I haven’t been in contact with this uncle for the longest time since i left home for studies. And he hasn’t been most healthy since ten years ago. But throughout these 10 years, i was secretly fearful of the thing that’s gonna happen one day, which is happening right now. read more
is apparently, very fake, or VERY VERY NICE.
Because.
First there was this on Facebook. Some stupid wig shop from Indonesia.

“Model menggunakan Fun Bun”.
How about my real funny bun bun is better than your fake funny bun bun.
Well. Fuck Your Bun’ s Life.
They also tagged a million people on this picture, so I hope it had been a fun experience if you had been one of my eyelashes, my earlobe, or my scalp.

And then today, @prinsezz_d showed me this picture on twitter.
I am sad 🙁
I can’t believe it’s been half a year already. Supposed to go back to Sapporo to visit my host family this summer but let’s just say that cost of the trip was economically prohibitive.

A lot of you have asked about nice holiday places to go to. I hardly travel outside asia and the only times i traveled to ang moh countries were because of super value AirAsia fares. T___T. Would really love to explore more outside Asia but i guess right now, there are enough nice places nearby and accessible that i’d love to go back to.

1.Osaka

As much as i love Tokyo, i feel a deeper connection towards Osaka, maybe because i have been trained to speak Kansai slang for the longest time (once you master Kansai ben, you can never speak standard Hyojungo ever again. It feels disgusting lol). It is sort of like Cantonese versus Mandarin. Kansai ben is rougher, ruder, and funnier in so many ways. And the people there are more relaxed and have good sense of humor. Why do you think all the famous game shows hosts in Japan all speak Kansai ben! read more
This is our last accommodation in Bali.
First there was a villa that overlooks rice terrace, mountain and a magnificent temple in Ubud, then there was a posh resort next to one of the most happening streets of boutiques and cafes in Seminyak, now this is a whole new different world.
A private villa consists of 3 separated pavilions, a huge ass T shape swimming pool within a spacious courtyard garden, all to yourself.

Out of so many contests i have written, nothing is as simple and straightforward and geneorous as this.

I am not even going to waste my energy and write a long ass post so that you can save some time reading and go snap some pictures liddis RIGHT NAO.

Anantara Seminyak is located just right at the Seminyak beach front, it’s such a drastic change from Ubud Hanging Garden. One is a charming hidden gem somewhere in the quiet mountain and this one is right at the end of a upscale buzzing street with happening night life, shopping and eateries.

Ok time to blog about the Bali trip! Went with TK, Ching and Keju.
The first night in Bali we stayed in this villa Julia Roberts was staying in when she was filming her latest movie Eat, Pray, Love (best selling book by Elizabeth Gilbert).
(!!!!!!!)
(Maybe i could still pick up some of the blonde hair she dropped in the villa?!?)
Ubud Hanging Gardens is said to be the best accommodation in Ubud. And having been to bali for 3 times, i don’t doubt that.
I don’t know how to tell you how exciting it was for me. I will just bombard you with 40 gorgeous pictures. read more
