You know what’s funny?

When you tell a joke or make a pun about pencils in your dream you’re like Oh My God that will totally make a genius tweet worth 1000 RTs and then I can sell it to comedians and it will be a big hit and go on TV and shit and then you will get so much money just selling puns about pencils before you go back to dream about some other awesome jokes that will make you million dollars. I’m not even kidding,  dream is the best job ever, except that you don’t even have to work because dream DOES the work for you, and i can’t believe i have only discovered it now! This is me showing you my home in my home. #homeception.

But i don’t really stay there anymore because firstly almost half the time i practically live in Japan, and the other half when i am here, i stay with the kareshi in a rented apartment in KL so my house is now pretty much abandoned -_-. And it is hell lot of a headache.

Anyone who occasionally stay with their partner (but not moved in fully) will understand this. You will have NO MATCHING SHOES for all your outfits (!!!) and you wish you have two iMacs and you buy double the house hold items. In our case it is worse because we will have to buy those things when we live in Japan. It’s like we are living three lives at the same time. I’m not sure if it is a good or bad thing. read more

I hate to admit it but i am too spoilt to buy normal priced air tickets :X

It’s a bit like getting invited to Nuffnang screening too often now you won’t even pay for your own movie tickets anymore. In conclusion, bloggers are assholes.

One of the reasons why i can afford to travel so much (apart from when i am paid to fly for work, which is very, very often, excuse my humble brag), which half of you all ask all the time, is because i am very very good at findig cheap deals. Contrary to popular belief, i don’t always stay in palaces run by unicorns in uniform and glowing floating castles when i travel, only sometimes. The rest of the time i stay in hotels that costs RM120 a night. In Japan. And very, very decent hotels. read more

I’m juggling with so many social media at the same time i don’t even know what have i posted and not anymore. Even when i write this i feel like deja vu and i might even have typed the exact same thing before. If i didn’t, i probably will in the future. So i apologize in advance.

Anyway, here are some of the magazine features these couple of months that i might or might not have posted on this blog.

So i started experimenting with Mandarin, again.

Did you know that i use to write entirely in Chinese? No you didn’t, because that was 17 years ago and blogs hadn’t been invented yet. What i wrote in was called a “diary”. It wasn’t meant to be read by anyone so i don’t assume anyone of you have read my mandarin writings before. Unless you have broken into my house before. Or can time-travel. Or are my mom. Come to think of it i don’t even know how something that was created for the access of ONE person (my first diary came with a padlock) turn out to have a completely opposite purpose many years later where 1000 visitors a day is considered sad. It’s kind of like prostitution. Thank you Internet. Now you make me feel like a whore. No, i guess sharing is caring. read more

Today, this blog turns 8 years old.

And this is the 1,566th blog post since 8 years ago.

Today, 1 year ago. i was in disbelief how i have blogged for 7 years.

Today, 3 years ago, i got myself the first smart phone wtf.

Today, 4 years ago, i was amazed that i had a blog for 4 years.

Today, 6 years ago, i was still using gif file emoticons on blog.

Today, 8 years ago, i ditched diary and started a weblog. i had 0 zero readers that day. And i should really started building a secret spaceship.

And today, i am writing this in a narrow little hotel Tokyo wondering how the hell this blog has managed to made it this far. read more

Normally i don’t do food post but this is JAPAN!!!!!

Here are some of the yummiest things i ate while i am here. Every time i take a bite the first thing i say to the kareshi is “ii na nihon ii na ii na~” (means Japan is awesome lolol and i sound like an ambulance HAHAHHA) and then i wonder how can Japanese people survive anywhere else when their standard of nom is so high. I mean if i live here all my life i probably cannot get used to eating anything else. T___T. The ratio of good food to bad food is like 1:0 lol. There’s no such thing as bad food. Mediocre food is considered bad food lol. read more

I finally get to visit the Sky Tree!

For those of you who didn’t know about Sky Tree, it is the tallest tower in the world. (Tower, not building hor. And by the way, KL Tower is ranked no. 7!)

I flown in to Japan right on it’s opening day on 22nd May, but didn’t get a chance to go there because the waiting list was insane. I heard that only one out of like 300 will be picked from online booking. But now the hype has calmed down i little i guess!

So 3 months later, i am here! The kareshi had a day off so it was our date to Sky Tree! read more

I went to Mark Styler’s winter exhibition 3 days in a row by accident lol. The first day was because Momoko and Ena invited, and the second day was when i met up with Jillian Kate (American model/fashion producer in Japan whom i get to know on Instagram wtf) she wanted to go to her friend’s exhibition and brought me along and it turned up to be the same event, and then on the last day i went under Runway Channel to know more about their brands. read more
