Wardrobe clearing!

October 8, 2006

Pun of the day:
She wanted to dress up as a servant to the costume party, so a fitting ensemble was maid to order.

Halloween is just around the corner!

You used to wonder where you can buy Cheesie’s fancy costumes. Well, wonder and wait no more, because Cheesie is selling her costumes now!

I wanna buy more costumes, but mom said i must get rid of my old ones first… 🙁

I bought them all from Taipei last year. They’re all in mint condition; i only wore them once for my photoshoot.

Jiu Zhai Gou Season Two

October 4, 2006

Pun of the day:
I never imagined i would stumble a pond such a breathtaking paradise. Lake’s like it’s my fairy lucky day!

Day 4—Fairy Pond
Warning: XL size pictures. Can’t help it. The scenery was too beautiful.
This valley is a grand masterpiece of nature; with dreamlike scenery akin to a fairyland, and natural resources in rich abundance.

Ancient Chinese legend has it that the goddess Semo accidentally smashed her mirror here, and the pieces fell down the mountain to form beautiful lakes, streams and waterfalls. read more

My First Marriage Proposal

October 2, 2006

Pun of the day:
Who wants to John him in holey cheese matrimony?

So far, my blog has yielded quite a number of surprises. Apart from the Insalata ala Ringo & Jasiminne (KC told me that there were actually people who ordered that from the restaurant after I posted about Italiannies again 0_o), this is another one of them.

I received tons of emails from this one ‘fan’. This is one of the most recent ones.

Whoa. My pictures are put next to a Holey Bible and Cheesus Crust.

Jiu Zhai Gou Season One

September 30, 2006

Pun of the day:
Are you willing Tibet I’ve never seen a paradise before?

In Jiu Zhai Gou, we stayed in the most luxurious hotel–Jiu Zhai Paradise.

Ahh what a name.

Even though it is a 5-star hotel, the decor is mostly very traditional, with Tibetan folk motifs everywhere. It is very interesting to see both modern and traditional elements co-existing harmoniously, thus creating a spectacular fusion.

Interestingly, the exterior of the hotel is completely made of glass, but unfortunately, the rafters which support the glass didn’t give me a clear view of sky outside. read more

Jiu Zhai Gou: The Last Paradise on Earth

There is too much to blog about Sichuan! It could take me about a month to blog about everything. LOL. I can blog forever about the food there cuz i got hungry every freaking two hours in China. And NEVER gained any weight!!!

Life’s good.

Of all the things i experienced in Sichuan, I am most looking forward to blogging about this! So happy. The thought of blogging about this alone makes me happy. read more

Sichuan Trip (Long Quan)

September 22, 2006

Pun of the day:
I’ll show and tell you how peachy life is in China. It’s a Looong Quan, so be patient!

Life in China is very peachy indeed…

when there are fresh-from-the-trees fruits aplenty…

And are sold at a super cheap price.

null
Can you believe it? Six peaches for RM5!

*drools*

This picture doesn’t do her justice. She is 10 times more beautiful in person. I can’t believe she’s serving dishes in a restaurant. She shoud be hosting “Sichuan Today” or something. read more

Sichuan Trip (Le Shan & Emei Mountain)

September 20, 2006

Pun of the day:
We received a very cold reception at the top of the mountain, which consequently rained on our parade.

A month ago, I went to a one-star country.

null

I wasn’t satisfied with it. I wanted a five-star treatment.

null

So i went to China.

Love it! 😀

This was the first time i saw such a small baby on board. So cute!

DAY 1–Le Shan

Reaching Chengdu Airport.

The first destination was the Le Shan Buddha.

It’s supposedly one of the greatest Buddha statues in the world. read more

Sichuan Trip Preview

September 19, 2006

Pun of the day:
Even if there’s no cheese in Sichuan, i’d have beancured of my CDS (Cheese Deprivation Syndrome), because i found a great alternacheese.

Grrrrr!

Cheeserland was siao today. It said server overload. WTC. Now you cheese now you don’t, almost drove me cheeses. >_<

Back from Chengdu

September 18, 2006

Pun of the day:
Some people dislike t’revel in foreign lands. Well, I had pun, so no complaints here. 😀

I’m back in Malaysia! 😀

This time around, I didn’t get CDS (Cheese Deprivation Syndrome)!

I’m all healthy and fine (and still cheesy of course), because this was what I ate in Sichuan.

I just love to break my own record. I took 2,748 pictures in 8 days. Total size of pictures: 6.91GB.

MAY YOU DIE OF CHEESIE OVERDOSE.

Sichuan was so much nicer than I imagined. The weather was nice. The streets were clean. The people were generally polite. Heck, the boys were cute too! The waiters in the restaurants, the bell boys in the hotels and even the massage boy! (They are all young graduates, so no old old uncles 😀 😀 ). read more

Dragon Fruit Feast

September 15, 2006

Pun of the day:
I don’t wanna drag-on any longer, so feast your eyes on these dishes, which i would say-very sweet!

The other day at the orchard, we saw a dragon fruit plant but it was fruitless. But guess what? We were invited to a dragon fruit orchard for a dragon fruit feast!

😀

Damn shiok for a glutton like me.

But then i started thinking, what exactly can you make out of some cacti’s fruits? Dragon fruit cake? Dragon fruit juice? Dragon Fruit Ice Cream… Err… What else? read more

The Orchard (Season Eye Candy)

September 13, 2006

Pun of the day:
When you mate a puppy with a bunny you get a rabid dog.

Three guardians of the orchard welcomed us the moment we set foot on their turf.

And i spotted a sweaty cutie.

My cousin. And my cousin’s cousin.

Some cuties in my uncle’s secluded house.

Her name is Brandy. She’s old. An auntie dog.

Brandy is so cute i wanna liquor! 😀

She is fierce though.

Cotton Ball looks fierce too.

But she is a reeeeeeeeeeal cutie!

She wants me to hug hug her! read more
