New camera!!

June 25, 2013

I got a new camera!! 😀

And this is not an ad, because i really really love this new camera!

I haven’t been holding a real camera for so long, ever since iPhone changed my entire life. 99% of the photos you see on my blog/Instagram for the past two years or so are all taken by my iPhone. Including the entire Weddingmoon trip T__T. Honestly it’s doing not a bad job at all, especially with millions of photo editing apps available.

I got so used to it that i became complacent, and i sort of forgot (or deliberately ignore) how taking good quality photos feel like. read more

Better than milk!

June 21, 2013

Everyone knows the goodness of milk! Apart from drinking it directly for nutrients, it’s also a popular skin care ingredient used for moisturizing. Some say it has whitening effects (my mom say one hahahahha)!

And now there’s something that is proven to nourish even better than milk, and it is the new Dove Body Wash!!

I was invited to their workshop!

The apron? Ok i’ll explain that later.

Familiar yet refreshing! It comes in all variants: Beauty Nourishing, Gentle Exfoliating, Sensitive Skin, Fresh Touch, Energize and Revive. read more

Athens

June 19, 2013

The beginning of our Weddingmoon!

In our Wedding package, a tour in Athens and 2 nights accommodation is included! I was so glad we went there because first, it gives us some time to get used to the new time zone, and second, you won’t want to miss Athens if you go to Greece!

The first thing we saw was the travel book in our pick-up limo from airport.

It’s the exact same color as the danna’s Greek hair.

From the roof top of our hotel in Athens.

It has a direct view of the Acropolis. I was like omg this is too awesome!! Of course, until i arrived in Santorini haha. read more

Santorini Weddingmoon I

June 14, 2013

Haro, this is the first part of my Weddingmoon story in Santorini with the danna.

We have already had our wedding in Japan with his family, a small dinner in Seremban with my family, and then, third time’s the charm, we decided to have the third wedding in Santorini, just the two of us.

Sunrisegreece was our Weddingmoon planner/organizer, and Amie from the company have been talking to me for over half a year just to plan this wedding. Sometimes i feel that i am getting married to her wtf. Because we decide things together while the danna just has to show up at the wedding and do what he is told to do. read more

Tip of the day

June 12, 2013

Today i want to talk about tipping!!!

One of the hardest things we had to do in Europe (and Africa) was to tip people.

I’m from Asia and i am not familiar with the whole tipping culture. The most we do here in Malaysia is to round up the fare for a taxi driver, or leave some loose change after paying the bill. I never have to dig out my wallet to pay anyone extra for whatever product or service i have already paid for. For the Japanese it is even stranger. There’s no such thing as tips. End of story. read more

Across continents

June 4, 2013

So now we are in Istanbul after leaving London (staying away from the riot areas so everything is fine, thanks for your worries!).

It is beautiful, so clean, people are super friendly, the weather cannot be more perfect, and it feels extremely safe even at night (compared to other European countries even!)

I am amazed.

Also worth a note is that:

1. It has the most amount of cats in any city i’ve ever been

2. Turkish drivers are insanely badass. Every car coming forward (or backwards LOLOL) looks like they have been commissioned to murder you in an intentional freak accident. read more

4 countries in 1 day

May 26, 2013

This time around it was a lot more fun than the last time.

Except that last time it was by air planes. This time, we drove through 4 countries in 1 day.

So in case you have lost track, our itinerary so far was like this:

KL – (flight) ISTANBUL (transit) – ATHENS (boat) – SANTORINI (flight) – ROME (train) – VENICE

And we had no idea where we should head to after Venice. The danna said let’s go to Germany, so we hopped on a night train to Munich.

I was so glad we did that!!! read more

Purasumakurasuta

May 24, 2013

I have already blogged about it two times (first and second blog post), and i guess there’s not much you haven’t known about Sharp Plasmacluster yet!

(Unless you didn’t do the 5 minutes googling i asked you to.)

Ever since the first workshop, i have been an avid supporter of Sharp, and so they have invited me to be featured on Bella ntv7 on their segment for Sharp Plasmacluster!

So of course i said yes because i think more people need to know about this cool technology!

Anyway, since i blogged about it,  number76 has told me that they sold quite a few units because my readers went and purchase it (i mean, who wouldn’t want one after a seeing with their own eyes on their own hair how effective it is!), they are also readers who tweeted and posted about the hair dryer! read more

Japan Shopping in KL

May 22, 2013

A lot of my readers have asked me about shopping in Japan, but for people who doesn’t have the chance to visit Japan yet, this is a blog about Japan shopping, IN KL! 😀

It is to provide an experience like you are in Japan without going to Japan hehehe.

The shopping theme is FOOD.

I’m giving myself a budget of RM200, to shop at 5 different places for food-themed Japanese items!

1. Bento

I love bentos! One of the things i love to do the most is to just grab one and go to the nearest park for picnic. read more
