Pick your skin up

May 20, 2013

I’m not a coffee drinker as the caffein makes me dizzy, but i’ve heard how caffein has become very popular ingredient in skin care over the years, in face creams, body scrubs, and fragrances.

The latest Origins GinZing Energy-boosting moisturizer contains caffein as one of its major ingredient.

If you are familiar with Origins, you will know that it is a all-natural skin care brand which products are formulated with certified organic ingredients and 100% natural essential oils, at the same time commits to protecting the environment and also encourages recycling. read more

The Journey

May 19, 2013

Ciao.

Sorry for the lack of update.

As we left Santorini our lives have also turned to chaos since there’s no Amie (my wedding planner from Sunrise Greece who is more almighty than greek goddesses) to take care of everything anymore T__T

Actually back in Greece there was also super a lot of drama, my pocket wifi got delivered to the wrong place, our flight to Rome got cancelled because of a strike at the airport, but then i was just like, whatever, chill! Amie will fix it. And then the poor girl is running 24 hours sleepless to fix our shit. read more

The beginning, Greece.

May 15, 2013

Hello from Greece!

I don’t have a lot of time with the internet but here are some photos! (as seen on my Instargram! If you want more instant update please follow me @cheeserland ^^)

The first Weddingmoon destination for us is Greece! Despite whatever everybody says about it being a poor country and dangerous etc, what i experienced here so far was pure beauty and nice people!

What’s poor is people’s judgement for things they don’t at all know.

I was in Athens a few days before flying to Santorini! read more

Olay Beauty Myth Buster Workshop

May 10, 2013

Do you sometimes buy a beauty product because it promises big claims, and then stop using after just a few months because you don’t see the result fast enough?

Olay has been really loud with their promises too, they even had a money-back guarantee earlier, and this new Olay Regenerist challenges you to try it because it promises to “Reduce lines and wrinkles before you finish one jar”.

So does this new Olay Regenerist deliver results as they claim?

Watch the “Beauty Myth Buster” video below to find out. read more

The memory game!

May 9, 2013

I’m sure every one of you have played the memory game!

I’m moderately bad at it because i have a memory of a Dory T__T

The moment i flip a new card i forget what the previous card is T___T.

I think there’s a few techniques to it, but i normally just random flip cards and i end up forgetting which one i flipped lol.

If you have superb memory, it is time you can put it to good use, and at the same time win yourself some prizes!

“Capital FM Reconnect” is a memory game on radio. read more

Malaysia

May 6, 2013

Hello guys.

GE13 is over, and i can’t sleep. Maybe many of you can’t sleep too? Welcome.

I apologize in advance for my blabbering in this blog post. Even I don’t know what i am going to write.

As you all know i am publicly unpatriotic, but i actually don’t hate Malaysia. It would be quite crazy to hate your own country. I admit i don’t love it with a burning passion until i can sacrifice everything for it, but i don’t hate it. I am thankful that my ancestors moved from South China to this country, (which i think is much, much, much, much better, at least i can have a Facebook account), and i am forever grateful that it is Malaysia who made me a moderately successful blogger (and hence all the amazing opportunities in life that ensued), gave me a moderately comfortable life, and allows me all you super awesome readers, which i doubt i can achieve given i was born and raise elsewhere. For that i thank my grandparents, my mom and my country. read more

Hanami

May 4, 2013

This is a #backinJapan post!

Rinrin and i joined Number76 Omotesando’s hanami (sakura viewing) at this park near Ghibli Studio during (almost finishing) sakura season. It was one of the last few good days before the crazy storm came and blew away all the sakura.

#1

Lake, swan boats and sakura

Fallen petals…

The entire ground in the park was covered by fallen sakura it was like a giant pink carpet.

Our picnic spot!!

Gomi san! She always does my hair when i go to Number76 in Japan! ^^ read more

Sendai

April 28, 2013

On my birthday this year, the danna took a couple of days off. Both of us are not the gifts type of person. We sort of reached an unspoken understanding where we won’t have to go through the headache of what to buy each other during special occasions, but to decide together for a small holiday somewhere.

Last year we went to Okinawa, and this year we both wanted to travel up north to Tohoku.

The main reason was really just to give Tohoku some support. I have heard and seen heartbreaking interviews about how bad the people in the disaster areas after 311 have to struggle for a living, and every damn time it bring me to tears. Although just us visiting the area per se would not change anything about the people’s lives in Tohoku, i hope at least the presence of some tourists there will encourage the people there to hold on and persevere , or at least even just a little smile and brighten up their day. 🙂 read more

HAKUBI WHITE C

April 26, 2013

Today i’m introducing another Japanese beauty product!

I am currently taking many beauty products at the same time, including collagen drinks, placenta jelly, and now whitening also, and they are all Japanese brands because so far i’m loving all of them and so my entire kitchen is also filled with Japanese beauty products and supplement. 😀

Today the one i want to introduce is HAKUBI WHITE C series from Sato.

Sato is a Japanese pharmaceutical company that is almost 100 years old!! I always buy over the counter flu pills for cold in the pharmacy when i was in Japan, didn’t know now they have beauty products too. read more
