Japan visa approved. Flying in 2 days to Osaka.

Honestly, i am really quite fateless with Japan. It is like somehow God (ok i will unuse the word God here—hate to use this word, with the exception of the times i’m taking it in vain, of course) some strange forces make it so hard for me to set my foot on this bloody rising sun place just so i would give up.

Some strange forces really don’t like me in Japan. So much extra effort to put in, so much last minutes changes, so much panic, so much frustrations sometimes i actually wonder if it is actually worth it. read more

I discovered that after having just been on a totally amazing and exclusive heli ride around KL city, picked the boyfriend up from KLIA, shook hands with Jackie Chan and Daniel Wu, and am going on a fully sponsored trip by Air Asia (thank you) to attend V Fest in Perth on Friday, my life still feels like a piece of crap.

This whole “wow Cheesie your life is great” thing is just…

Well, the good news is, while typing this, i don’t feel so emo anymore! Went shopping with Cin yesterday, Rebecca Bloomwood style and it helped! 😀

We pakai baju purple. Everytime so ngam one.

I’m like crazy purple lately. 4 months ago i had zero purple stuff. Because i thought purple looks atrocious on me. Like a red polka dress on Steve Tyler. Plus a shiny tiara. But i dunno what’s with this sudden purple craze. I think it started with a pair of purple Alexander McQueen imitation pumps from Shanghai. Then i started feeling compelled to have matching purple accessories. So as a result i bought a purple belt, a purple dress, a purple scarf, a purple tote, a purple purse and a purple… no la the purple JoRin wig is photoshopped one.  And if i wear/carry all these purchases all at once, i will need to date Barney to look normal. read more

i haven’t felt so crap in a long time. Every time i feel like crap, i want to run away. Have a holiday. and then everything will be okay again.

But there’s just one problem.

The problem is that, i just came back from a holiday. And i reckon that’s the precise reason why i’m feeling like crap.  i dunno which part of the trip made me feel like crap, because it was a great trip and all, although this is my 4th visit to Taipei and it did start to get a bit boring with all the same things in the city. So come to think of it maybe it’s just a regular crap day, or week, whatever. (There’s a difference between periodic depression and period depression. The former seems more likely because it’s not the time of the month just yet.) read more

I blew a breath of air at the window and it didn’t mist up. -3°C and 30°C is a big change. It felt strange. 

I went and bought some grocery because my fridge was as empty as my brain when i board the plane. And i was slightly upset that they don’t sell mentaiko onigiri here. I developed an obsession towards mentaiko during my stay in Nagano. It’s not like i really love it like crazy la (come to think of it i don’t think i like it that much at all), but it’s more like, life is not complete without it. read more

Spent a whole day last night photoshopping some pictures since everyone is catching up the Xiaxue photoshop bug. I swear it is turfing addictive. Great distraction. I posted a few in Nuffnang’s December featured blogger (omg honored!! i know right, what turf). But i think those are really badly done. Because i just had a super express crash course on Extreme Makeover photoshop whole day last night and i think i improved by at least 39823713%. read more
