I cannot understand why people use it! It is shit. Anyway i had to because… well, because. *leaves room for imagination wtf*
And suddenly 97341 people are talking to me at me at the same time and this is the kind of thing they talk to me about.
(Story background: It’s official. I don’t hide it anymore. On Facebook i’m in a relationship with minimaos.)

And he went offline for good.
A blog post i read written by an expat in KL. I’m just gonna copy and paste it here:
FAQ: Driving in Malaysia
1. What side of the road should you drive on in Malaysia?
99.7% of cars drive on the left hand side, 0.2% on the right hand side, and 0.1% drive in reverse (be on the lookout for drivers reversing at high speed in the left hand lane of freeways, having just missed their exit). Therefore on the basis of ‘majority rules’, it is recommended that you drive on the left. However, be aware that only 90% of motorcyclists travel on the left hand side – the other 10% ride in the opposite direction or on the sidewalk. Fortunately, motorcyclists traveling in reverse are rarely seen.
2. When can I use the emergency lane?
You can use the emergency lane for any emergency, e.g. you are late for work, you left the toaster plugged in at home, you are bursting to go to the toilet, you have a toothache or you have just dropped your Starbucks coffee in your lap. As it is an emergency, you may drive at twice the speed of the other cars on the road.
3. What does the sign ‘Jalan Sehala’ mean?
This means ‘One Way Street’ and indicates a street where the traffic is required to travel in one direction. The arrow on the sign indicates the preferred direction of the traffic flow, but is not compulsory. If the traffic is not flowing in the direction in which you wish to travel, then reversing in that direction is the best option.
4. What does the sign ‘Berhenti’ mean?
This means ‘Stop’, and is used to indicate a junction where there is a possibility that you may have to stop if you cannot fool the cars, on the road that you are entering, into thinking that you are not going to stop.
5. What does the sign ‘Dilarang Masuk’ mean?
This means ‘No Entry’. However, when used on exit ramps in multi-storey car parks, it has an alternative meaning which is: ‘Short cut to the next level up’.
6. What is the speed limit in Malaysia?
The concept of a speed limit is unknown in Malaysia.
7. So what are the round signs on the highways with the numbers, 60, 80 and 110?
This is the amount of the ‘on-the-spot’ fine (in ringgits – the local currency) that you have to pay to the police if you are stopped on that stretch of the highway. Note that for expatriates or locals driving Mercedes or BMWs, the on-the-spot fine is double the amount shown on the sign.
8. Is it necessary to use indicator lights in Malaysia?
These blinking orange lights are commonly used by newly arrived expatriate drivers to indicate they are about to change lanes. This provides a useful signal to local drivers to close up any gaps to prevent the expatriate driver from changing lanes. Therefore it is recommended that expatriate drivers adopt the local practice of avoiding all use of indicator lights. However, it is sometimes useful to turn on your left hand indicator if you want to merge right, because this confuses other drivers enabling you to take advantage of an unprotected gap in the traffic.
Finally, the most important rule is that you must arrive at your destination ahead of the car in front of you. This is the sacrosanct rule of driving in Malaysia . All other rules are subservient to this rule.
This is what other nation think about driving in Malaysia. This is how much we know and care about road safety. Not that i am complaining. I mean, i’m proud to admit that i have contributed to the statistics of case number 1, 2, 6. Okay maybe 3 and 4 too. And i think i might have half-committed 7 too.
So maybe the next time we want to perform any of the above stunts, think about what you pledge for MUFORS. (I know you haven’t but i’m going to make you to).
MUFORS stands for Malaysians Unite for Road Safety, a community project that was set up not only to empower you, the Rakyat, to voice out your thoughts and concerns on road safety in the country but more importantly as a platform for all of us to take a minute to think about how we as road users can do our part to making our roads safer for all.
In 2009, an overwhelming 240,000 Malaysians made their personal pledges for road safety via text, photo, video and SMS through the MUFORS website and road shows all over Malaysia.
Pledge for road safety! This is my pledge, starting from me being less angry on the road.

How i handle my fiery and argumentative British Bitch. A little Miss Sunshine to calm her down. Or rather me down.

Lots and lots and lots of caramel chocolate at my disposal.
We need nothing less than than driving on Malaysian roads. After handling road rage, i will then move on to actually focus on my driving (without tweeting and BBM’ing) and lastly knowing how to drive properly. O.o
You? You YouYouYouYou You YouYou You YouYou You YouYou You YouYou You YouYou YouYou You You?
Also, MUFORS is running MUFORS Road Reels Short Film Competition, open to students of all universities, colleges and institutions of higher learning in Malaysia with the theme “Attitudes on Roads – A Malaysian Journey”.

I agree that road safety (or the lack thereof) is all about the drivers’ attitude! This competition let students play their part in changing negative attitudes on Malaysian roads by capturing moments and messages that will reflect attitudes on Malaysian roads and how these attitudes are related to road accidents and deaths.
Wanna make your college or uni proud? The winner of each category stands to win RM10,000 in cash while the university or college he/she is studying in will get RM3,000.

Closing Date for the contest is 30 October 2010.

You can get the stuff from minimaos. I love it!!!
Ok i logged in to my wordpress for like the 638th time and i dunno what to write but i’m itching to write something. (I almost wrote “something” and clicked publish.)
I mean no matter what i blog it will seem all wrong and so i think it is best if i stick to something completely irrelevant.
For once it is actually quite hard to think of something irrelevant because i don’t know what is relevant to begin with. So i thought i would blog about something not a lot of people have something to say about and something that will make me happy.
For example, mentaiko.
I mean, how many of you actually know what mentaiko is?
So yea, i am going to blog about mentaiko today.
This is a commercial i saw in Japan, about mentaiko.

This, is mentaiko. It is food for thought so if you dunno what it is, maybe you should think about it and question your own existence.

This is tarako and mentaiko wtf.

I mean, just look the them. It makes me happy already.

This is mentai mayo on bread!

And this commercial has got some people tasting mentaiko.

Sometimes i wonder how people can tahan doing a food tasting program.
I mean, i would probably need a Japanese thesaurus for the word oishii.
Haven’t been sleeping a lot. New work and stuff.
Suddenly i just realized that, i really don’t have to explain anything to anyone if i don’t want to. I don’t owe anyone anything. The only one i owe something to is myself. And i will settle that with said person later.
Really, i wondered why i even bothered.
Chinese saying, more draw more black.
So, yea.
Will try to update soon. Nothing to read here now.
Can go drool over minimaos‘ yummy new decoden pieces.

Regarding my last post about wanting to move away, well, i don’t think i will, yet. 🙁
So you ask me where and when iosoduno.
I just want to go somewhere with nice air that makes me actually want to breathe. I dunno where you can do that in KL. Unless i move to Perlis. Or something. I think i will go for Something.
The air here makes people sick 🙁
*cough* *begs sympathy*
Anyway!
What i wanted to say is that (which i have already said in twitter, and a lot of things i said there i won’t repeat here, SO FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER LA.)
(Actually i realize i tend to repeat most of the things i said in twitter here. FYL.)
Anyway, what i wanted to say was that, (which i avoided voicing out publicly for so long because i gave some serious thought about the amount of SG flags in my comments and i reckoned i was not going to offend the whole nation and get a career suicide fml)
Anyway for the third time, what i was saying was,
i dunno why but most of the time when i talk to a Singaporean, i end up feeling like shit (no la i’m not creating cross border hatred or want to create controversy and it’s not like i am being insensitive or too sensitive or trying to be injurious or defensive or patriotic or unpatriotic or proud of my country or feel sorry for my country or whatever i’m just saying how i feel)!
(On second thought i think i sort of feel sorry for my country F Malaysia’s L.)
I already realized that the first time i went to Singapore many years ago. The things they say just make you feel like shit as a Malaysian (elaborate later).
(Ok la one example. Like when they come here they go WTF CHEAP WTF CHEAP WTF CHEAP and when we go there we are all WTF SO EX WTF SO EX WTF SO EX.)
(Need more example?)
(How about when you go to Hong Kong with Singaporeans they want to buy a hot dog then they do currency conversion and go Oh, It Is Just 2 Dollars! then you do your currency conversion and you are all SHIT FML.)
Then after that i hated Singaporeans for awhile. (And also my brief dating experience with the shittest Singaporean man ever helped reinforce the idea that Singaporeans are just shit). I refused to talk to them if there was a choice. Which is ironic now considering most of my late night chats nowadays are with Singaporean girls wtf.
At first i thought most of them are being condescending and think like their country is like wtf godly awesome or whatever and like to put people down and shit. Which is what made me feel like shit and bloody inferior. But it is not. They are just saying how they feel and what they think honestly. They are just asking innocent questions. They are just stating facts.
Xiaxue came down to KL on Friday and we went shopping in my car.
After i parked my car i unhooked the British Bitch (read: GPS) off my windscreen and hid it inside the drawer.
“Wtf why do you have to hide your GPS thing!”
“Oh because if i don’t, someone will come over and smash my window and steal my British Bitch.”
Then she gave me the wtf look.
I realized i said it so naturally and nonchalantly as if i was just stating a fact that was going to happened, and i felt something wrong. Then i realize i could interpret “something wrong” as, “like shit”.
I mean, it is true. It is just a sad fact we can’t deny. It’s like if you don’t clutch your handbag tight enough in front of your chest and it will get snatched. It’s like if you walk alone at night you will get mugged. It’s like you stop on highway and help someone whose car broke down and he will rob you. It’s like if you don’t pretend to call someone in a taxi and tell them the taxi number the cabbie will drive you somewhere secluded and kill you with a spanar. Psycho Murderer Muahaha wtf. It’s like you leave your hand phone on the table and turn to talk to a friend and the next second it is gone (or in a luckier but still rather tragic case, you get tweetjacked FYL).
You leave your British Bitch in your car, it gets stolen. These are the things we grew up with. It is only natural.
Then the next thing Xiaxue asked me was,
“Have you ever got raped?”
“What the fuck kind of question is that?”
“Erm i was just asking cuz i thought maybe it’s a very common thing, you know, like snatch theft. I dunno.”
FML.
I dowan to talk to Singaporeans oredi. Either that or i start to really move out of Malaysia.
PEACE! LOVE! EVERYTHING ALL! BAI.
