I need some Lurve

July 16, 2009

My lurve affair with Japan might have ended, but i am trying to distract myself with something fun and engaging. So i am now very busy to build up my Lurve O’ Meter, a facebook application by Lurve Multigrain chips.

And it makes me feel good to share, spread and sprinkle some lurve to everyone. To get my thoughts out. My goal is to be one of the Most Lurve’d People (and win myself RM5,000 cash).

ScreenShot058 by you.

Just Install this LURVE application in to your own Facebook profile, and play kao kao with it during the contest period of 6th July-28th August 2009 to accumulate as much Lurve O’ Meter points to win cash!!! read more

Jesus Body and Nipple Pheromone

July 13, 2009

Things i found in Don Quijote, my favorite store in Japan. It’s a great discount store and it opens till 3am in the morning.

jesusbody by you.

Cheesus Crust. It’s some diet pill that will make you slim.

jesus-body by you.

But i don’t understand why any girl would want to look like Jesus. I scared i grow hair and become bushy. Perhaps if you take enough pills, you would obtain the almighty Jesus powers and turn dust into loose diamonds that you have always really longed for (always pleasure to have the real thing!). But the discovery is a secret to be kept from others. Shhh. read more

Jenga

July 9, 2009

written July 6th, 2009

what i said about how things decide to take a drastic turn just when you expect them to head the way you want them to.

i almost booked a flight back to KL. that was what happened. (edit: i actually booked  a flight home. That was what actually happened.)

it was like Jenga. you build it up just so it could fall apart.

you pull one out. i pull one out. you pull another one out. and i pull another one out. until it is full of holes all over.

so you pull one out safely and then feel relieved to leave the shit up to everyone else to screw it up, it goes one big round and comes back to you. now it is your turn to screw it all up. read more

Holiyear 2009

July 9, 2009

Jan: Japan
Feb: Shanghai
Mar: Taipei
Apr: Perth, Makassar
May: Bali
June: United Kingdom
July: Japan
Aug: China (maybe, sponsored trip.)
Sep: ?
Oct: ?
Nov: ?
Dec: ?

What i realized so far, is that, as a human, we need a break from everything. Including a break from a break.

That is it. Holiyear has been a major success so far. Somehow everything just happened, i didn’t even plan them on purpose. They came one after another.

And then everything started falling apart. I felt like a major fail. I took too long a break. Now I need a break from my holiyear. read more

Back to Malaysia

July 8, 2009

Supposed to only come back on 21st July but decided to changed my flight very last minute. That’s 2 weeks earlier than my scheduled return.

Don’t ask.

Anyway, had been flying budget airlines all the while and this was my first MAS flight in a very long time, and was completely overwhelmed. I forgot how luxurious it could be.

I was like OMG THEY ACTUALLY GIVE PILLOWS! OMG BLANKIES. OMG FREE FOOD. OMFG YOU CAN ACTUALLY ASK FOR WATER WHEN YOU ARE THIRSTY WHAT TURF.

After flying low-cost airlines for such a long time, i realized how much effort normal airlines have put in to make their passengers feel great. Not to mention to compare with budget airlines. And i was very touched! And i felt very very bad about not finishing the food (it was nice, but i was just not that hungry). I mean, it was such a waste! And it was for sure not easy to prepare all these things. And the maintanence and stuff. I wonder if they actually make much profit at all. Flight wasn’t even half full when i flew to Kansai. read more

IKEA’s Makeover

July 6, 2009

The transformations are done.

I must say i am really really impressed. 5 messiest rooms in Malaysia, now i can say that i don’t mind staying in any of them.

So, let’s have a look of the 5 entries!

makeover2 by you. 1. Nasrieq This guy is so cute, he says his makeover is a tribute to late MJ—“Black Or White”!!! He says he doesn’t feel like waking up from his bed post-makeover. I have wanted that day bed for a long time!

2. Liew Li Ping

Whoa, this one i quite impressed. Her room looks really livable now. Very neat and i love the pure white concept.^^

makeover3 by you.

3. Yvonne Mah

Her old 5-in-1 home office really appalled me. Yvonne is currently sharing her bedroom with her 4 kids (age 10, 6, 3 and 20 mths). 0.O. She would like to win the prize because the extra funds would help to replace her old, donated, worn out TV cabinet and sofa. read more

Scotland

July 4, 2009

Hmmm. I kinda ran out of pictures on Japan. Here are many many big pictures for you from Edinburgh!

edinburgh

Edinburgh is a beautiful city! I loooooove!!! Very very Goth. And there are plenty of Goth shops and people dressing up Goth everywhere!

Just have to excuse my atrocious ensemble a bit throughout this entry though i normally don’t pair my outfits liddat but it was really too cold.

edinburgh1

Some free tour thing. Basically it is a 3-hour walking tour where they bring you around, tell you stories (mostly gruesome stories about tortured prisoners and ghost, didn’t think so grimly about a city so beautiful as Edinburgh), and… erm, that’s it. read more

My life as a hamster in Japan

July 3, 2009

Or a puppy. Or a bunni. Whatever. I actually prefer bunni. It’s cuter. But somehow a bunni in Japan is very likely to give people a wrong impression. So i typed hamster.

Anyway, i dunno how it works in school nowadays, but if i’m allowed to write my essay with tons of pictures slot in between words, i for sure can score this “My Life as a Hamster in Japan” essay.

For once i feel like turning my blog into one of those– this morning i had yaki onigiri with umeboshi on top, and then i went online and chatted with Carolyn, she told me her cousin’s uncle want to introduce me to his godson. I wonder if the godson has got smelly feet. We loled. And then i listened to MEG’s Beautiful. I love that song. And then about 3pm i opened a pack of Jagabee potato chips, it is slightly salted one. It is nice and crispy. Now my left knee is a bit itchy. I think i got bitten by a mosquito. Ok i am going off to pachinko now, bye xoxo– blogs. read more

5 Messiest Rooms in Malaysia

July 1, 2009

heh. You guys think my room is messy. Wait until you see these other 5 pack-rats.

ScreenShot081 by you.

The funny thing is, these messy people actually won RM2,ooo vouchers to shop at IKEA from the Go Clean Your Room contest i wrote about. So i’m now feeling very sesat dunno to feel happy or sad for being not messy enough.

I really salute some of these people. The amount of effort they put in shooting and editing the video and all, i wonder why they didn’t channel the energy into tidying up their room in the first place. (But then if they did, they wouldn’t have won RM2,ooo. Amazing isn’t it.) read more

i changed my mind

June 30, 2009

I like Japan again.

But I don’t think anyone can recognize me when i go back to Malaysia.

Everything is so yummy here. Hmmm. Nom nom nom nom.

In fact i shall avoid posting any picture of myself of late. I really prefer winter, because once i put on that thick furry coat no one can see my bulging tummy anymore.

Shocking news.

I think i like pachinko.

:E

This is what i blogged about 6 months ago.

I REALLY don’t understand why people play pachinko/slot. It’s like the stupidest games ever that require no skill whatsoever unlike Roulette omfg i miss Roulette in Shanghai but srsly, WHY?!?! read more
