When I learnt that Honda Malaysia has pledged a contribution of RM5 million to WWF-Malaysia to save the Sumatran rhinos, I was like 0.o.

Eh come on, 5 mil can do a lot of things wei (prolly can buy Paris Hilton a dinner) And they are wasting it on… rhinos?!

But rhinos aren’t even cute! 0.o

Okay. They might be marginally quite attractive if they were pink.

And no, Honda’s next model is not Honda Rhino.

But why would they spend so much money to save some muddy creatures from extinction?

Before reading their articles, I had not a clue that Sumatran rhinos are actually a Malaysian natural heritage.

It is estimated that there are less than 300 Sumatran rhinos left in the world.
And the reason the Sumatran rhino is considered a Malaysian heritage is that it is the only rhino species found in Malaysia. Until now, Honda Malaysia is the first and only corporation dedicated to sponsoring a long term project to save the Sumatran rhino.

Then I was a little touched knowing that they would rather spend 5 mil on such challenging conservation efforts than to bring Paris Hilton out for coffee and manicure.

Though my opinion that rhinos are ugly still stands, I do hope that we Malaysian can prevent them from turning into a museum specimen.

Or maybe I can pretend that Rhinos are as cute as Cheddie la.

I love Ratatouille so much i watched it again.

After the movie, i went to the supermarket and bought…

Strawberries and cheese.

Remember this scene in Ratatouille, where Remy took a bite of the strawberry then cheese, and there were fireworks lighting up in the background??! (Speaking of which i got conned all the way to Putrajaya to watch a mere 4 minutes of fireworks. But all gorgeous. 🙂 )

I bought some Driscoll’s and Young Dutch Edam. I dunno la, never tried strawbies with edam before, kancheong! Cuz normally they only serve grapes and dried fruits with the cheese platter.

I’m sure a lot of you know how to Liquify and stuff so I’m gonna make this really really simple.

First select a suitable picture of yourself you think has the potential to become an iDoll. Most important criteria is the expression. Blythe Dolls don’t smile wide, so select a nonchalant expression or with a light smile. A slight pout would be better! Such as this one.

Step 1:
Select the area around your face using Marquee tool.
Right click for Free Transform.

Step 2:
Toy with your face!

To make your face look Dolly–wider forehead, sharper chin, transform the square into a trapezium.
Point the cursor towards the squarie on the down left corner, hold on CTRL+Left Click and Drag slighly inwards to the right.
Repeat the step to the down right corner. You can also widen the top part.

Step 3:
Crucial tips to iDollizing—Bigger Eyes!!!

Select Bloat Tool, pump up your eyes. (Preferably a 2X bigger brush size to your eyes for a more natural looking huge eyes). Don’t over do it though, or you’ll look like a Gremlin.

Step 4:
Shrink nose. Xiaxue style. Well she no longer needs it now. 😀

Use Pucker Tool and Warp Tool to make your nose smaller.

Apply and Quit Liquify.

Step 5:
Stamp your face porcelain like.

Almost done!

After that you still need to do a lot of touch up (layering, erasing etc) to merge the pictures nicely. If you like, you can shrink your body too, cuz Blythe Dolls are big headed.

I assume you all can do it lo.. lazy to put up cuz that part quite tedious one!

I’m quite troubled by this jinx that has been following me for the past few weeks. Seems like the more i talk about something i want, the further it drifts away from me. Why? It was just an innocent anticipation, it was just an excitement i can’t wait to share to my loved ones, why would they just cheesappear half way towards my embrace?

It’s called the Futon Jinx. Futon (布団) is a kind of Japanese mattress. And i coined this term after reading an article from my Japanese class material. See, don’t you have this experience? Every night after you tuck in to bed (in this case the Japanese Futon) and before you float into dreamland, you fantasize about things you crave for. Maybe you make up a scene about how your massive, secret crush for two years suddenly confesses his/her feelings for you over a glass of Chardonnay, then leads to the scene where you guys finally make out blah blah blah… or getting your hands on your favorite Lamborghini’s steering wheel, getting an insanely high pay rise, passing your SPM with frying karers….

You giggle like an oaf and sleep with a big smile on your face (you could use a vibrator, if things heat up, you know).

But they never came true. None of which you picture every night, hoping will materialize someday. Not even the smallest fragment of your faintest fantasy.

Or they turn out to be the exact opposite (your crush will never notice your new haircut. He/she just announce his/her new love, your car loan wasn’t approved, your bastard boss fires you over a cup of spilled cappuccino and you flunk your exams, big time!!!666touchwoodtouchwoodtouchwood).

That’s the Futon Jinx.

That’s why, whenever i want something, i try to refrain myself very hard from even thinking about it. Because i believe in Futon Jinx. Yea a jinx i made up.

Note: From this point onwards i shall replace the word fantasy/dream/that-damn-thing-i-want with cheesecakes. Don’t bother about me! After all there’s this Annie Lennox song that sings “Sweet dreams are made of cheese, who am I to disagree?”. Ok just kidding. But really, who are you to cheesagree?

I work hard for my cheesecakes, i have worked hard for everything i longed for. Isn’t it frustrating that people don’t seem to think that you deserve that piece of delicate cheesecake (albeit calorie-laden) after such long, excruciating labor? So the saying goes, you can’t have your cheesecake and eat it too. But why not? I have brought Cheddie for more than enough rides, and walked that extra mile just to burn the fats i’ve stored in beneath my skin. I think i deserve to at least have a mouthful of that damn piece of cake.

I’m not blaming whoever came in the way and potong’ed every single molecule of steam that was gonna lead me towards that cheesing cake. Well what can i say! Some people just have their cheesing ways around things. They tail you like an innocent little wide-eye kitty and when your guard’s down, they have had their ways around moving your cheese. Faster than you can say “cheese”. Dang! I should have read the damn book, learn to slide just a tad smoother, get around things just a tad faster, maybe i’ll have my cheese after all.

It’s all my own fault! I could teach Cheddie how to fetch a damn lighter but i didn’t know how to seize the Frisbee that flew by. I was all too blind to have seen that coming. So stupid! I don’t care la i just want my cheesecake ok! *sulks like Maggie Simpson* Now gimme or die! *pulls revolver’s trigger*

Ok kidding.

Haih what can i do but work harder, which is what i do always. I don’t know how to gunting pendek and i hate to do the disgusting patronizing. Suan le ba. I’m used to it already oneeeeeeeeee *bitter*. And kind (read: dumb) people always fail, you think?

Last but not cheese, a word of caution though. Don’t be so perasan and think that everything i wrote is about you. Maybe it’s not. Don’t overestimate yourself and pandai pandai think that i actually care a cheese about you.

After reading this, i was so compelled to blog about the same thing—-the names of the Star Idol Malaysia’s contestants.

I don’t really follow the show, i think it’s not even half as interesting as Cheddie’s video clips. On top of that, why watch it when i can make myself an iDoll too. Wahaha.

Anyway. About their names!! There’re 20 contestants and half of them have very, uhm, to put it nicely, unique, names.

Such as:

I would have guessed that her chinese name is Wong Hui Kit or something that’s why everyone calls her Ah Kit. But no lo. Her chinese name is Zheng Zi Juan. Maybe she wants to be the female Akon! (So maybe her real name is actually Aliana Dalmation Gouda Tissot Parmesan Necklace La La La Burger Akit Teh).

A macho guy with a girly name.

According to his chinese name he should call himself Joey! But i think he finds Joey too sissy, so he opted Jimmy, but then he loves Gummy Bears, and wanted to name himself after them.

A girl i met from Fasio Contest. Whom i think stands a very high chance of making her way into the finals of Star Idol too.

She got her name from Japanese rock band Glay. She shortened the four band members’ names, Takuro Kubo, Teruhiko Kobashi, Yoshihito Wayama and Hisashi Tonomura and formed HISHIKO. I dunno how she did that genius cut and paste but yea. Interesting name!

Another personal friend of mine.

She was the first girl who got eliminated from Star Idol.

Her name is actually Dorothy. I guess she called herself Doll because that’s more catchy? Plus i can’t deny that she’s really pretty like a doll. Ahh… no need to be an iDoll already.

I can only say that most of the contestants’ names are really, uhm, special. But they are all not even in the same zip code as funny as this. I mean, literally.

Reporter: “Hie Doll, where’s the other girl contestant?”
Doll: (who has a sharp nose, no pun intended): *sniff sniff* “Hmmm i smell Funny!”
Reporter: “Huh… you do?” *subconsciously backs off*

For a movie.

Ok la. The Singapore Nuffnang Rush Hour 3 Premiere.

Timothy is nice enough to let me kakacaocao tag along with the Nuffnang team and Ming is kind enough to offer me a place to stay. Thanks Boss!

Rush Hour! I’m not a big fan of Jackie Chan. I don’t even remember if i saw Rush Hour 1 and 2. 0.o and if i did those are some real forgettable movies 0.o.

Anyway! To everyone who loves Jackie and his stunts, very the no offense la i just think the movie is just another very mediocre action flick and it spills too much lemon juice (Read: Lame Jokes. I know i know. The movie is just as lemon juice as this joke, if this is even a joke)!

And did i mention that Chris Tucker is suuuuper the very very very very very (help me say a few more times, please? I’m out of breath) very annoying throughout the movie with his constant blabbering. He just talks waaay too much while the audience is trying to focus on the action bits. Imagine in the middle of a kancheong live-or-die fight he’ll suddenly pull some ridiculously lame jokes or just blabberblabberblabber nonstop that makes you go dash underscore dash sweat sweat sweat. Super duper kakacaocao irritating steam potonger.

Ahh enough. This is one kind of those movies whose fans you daren’t offend, that when people ask “So how’s was it? Nice or not” you euphemize kao kao and say things like, “Oh, got hot chicks lo.” and never give a straight answer.

Just like The Curse of the Golden Flower, (neh, the one with Jay Chou in it one) when i asked my friends if they think it’s nice, their answers were all the same. You know what they answered?

“Oooh. Got a lot of boobs to see lo!”.

Speaking of movies, you guys should go watch Ratatouille!!

I had the honor to watch it last week at the media screening in Mid Valley, courtesy of Nuffnang. SO HAPPY!

I always love animations. I think their content and humor factor are so much more intelligent than the so-called comedies. Just like Wallace & Gromit, so funnily punny (and vice versa 🙂 ).

Ratatouille is one. Love it to bits. Why i love it? Because it has delectable visuals abundant! It has cheese, Cheval Blanc, FOIE GRAS (!!!666), french bread, Eiffel Tower, more cheeeese, caviar, cheese omelette, Paris (romantic!) and more cheeeeeeese.

I won’t elaborate on the story so you’ll have to watch it yourself! But what i can say is that the movie is such a delicious gastronomic delight that is made with utmost sincerity and just the right ingredients that blend perfectly with each others. It has good taste of humor (hmmm yummy!), though not as punny as Wallace and Gromit, it’s touching at some point, and it’s really food for thought!

Watch it if you’re an animation gourmet.

Totally deserves a 8.5 in IMDB. 🙂

There’s rationale behind my designed one ok. Her name is Chee Seen.

Chee Seen has always been a bit cheeses in the head. Everyone poked fun at her since she was young, and called her a cheese tart (because she was somewhat cheesetarted and lacked focus on everything. Ultimately jingjang, because she came from a poor family, so poor she can’t even afford to pay attention.). All her friends had got the most up-to-date fancy gadgets but she didn’t even own a handphone. She got very cheesed-off and vowed to be different from her peers.

She started to develop a weird sense of fashion. However, something was bothering her. She adored pink but it clashes with her cheesy altercheesego. She wanted to dress in pink but her altercheesego wanted to dress in bright, cheesy yellow. She became cheezophrenic.

One day, she was so irritated by the voice within telling her to dress up as a Cheddar slice, she just banged her head kao kao against a hard block of Parmesan. Since then, she has gone completely chee seen. Knowing that her altercheesgo has taken the cheesier of her, she cheesappeared from the world.

No one knew of her cheeseabouts. Rumor has it, that someone’s seen her roaming about in Ginza, Tokyo, dressing up as a kogyaru doing enjou kousai for a living.

Until one day, when details of the Harajuku Doll Contest emerged, Chee Seen, after many years of absence returned to the scene. Still handphoneless, yet sporting a new cheesttitude and an equally new wardrobe (expensive since all her money goes on her clothes) she vows to win the contest with a cheestensity that no one has seen before. She is quoted as saying she would do anycheese at any cheese to cheesing win the contest.

On a serious note. Their dolls lai lai qu qu are all about the same, how to judge which one is prettier? Siao. It’s easier to come up with “The freakingest ugliest Harajuku Dolls” contest. Anyway i figured out my story is just crap. So i’ve decided to bribe my Cheeselanders with *my* Harajuku pictures.
