Totally didn’t expect to get stranded in a desert :(((

Qatar airline fucked up their schedule in Berlin, and ended up landing 2 hours late in Doha, while my connecting flight back to Malaysia was 50 minutes from scheduled landing time MCH.

So nao, i’m stuck at Doha airport and have 5 hours extra to do shit i didn’t needed to. Including blogging. Ok i take that back. Blogging is not shit.

And being the opportunistic Malaysian i kinda pressed them to upgrade me to business class but no luck although it’s clearly not my fault sigh so even that little hope for a consolation is gone. Well at least i have wifi THANK GOD FOR INTERNET. read more

It’s probably the most popular online retail fashion shop i know!

It’s started by 3 young ladies in Singapore and 3 years ago, Bonito Chico was voted the Best Online Blogshop by Nuffnang Blogger Awards and i was there to witness it.

And now, they upped the game and it’s no longer just a blogshop. I was invited to Singapore to visit Love, Bonito’s warehouse, and when i entered it i was just stunned by the scale of their business. There were tons and tons of new stock. Never have i imagined that an online could make it that big! Also i remembered that legendary warehouse sales they had on Singapore that had people queuing up blocks away just to shop. It was madness. read more

Basically without it you are going to vaporize into thin air from this world. Actually that’s not true. Even to vaporize you will need it.

It is water!!

What. Up to 70% of human body is water, you never hear before meh. So yea i guess that makes it my body’s best friend!

And unfortunately i have been neglecting this best friend and took it for granted. Just before i left for Europe i was very very sick. Super high fever and severe flu until cannot get up from bed kind of sick. And it is my own fault. I had been too busy and stressing out too much and, the biggest and simplest reason—not drinking enough water.
Actually i work from home all the time and there should be NO REASON why i’m not drinking enough water. But i guess i’m just waaaaay too lazy to walk to the pantry to fill up water in kettle and wait for it to boil and cool down and drink. read more

Seriously i’m not making another Czech pun again. It’s getting waaaay too much. But i can’t deny that i have been waiting quite long and was excited to write that.

This is my first road trip in Europe. Micha drove more than 4 hours to Prague (Danke schön), and i didn’t know that you can travel to another country just like that (without a passport for Europeans). We crossed Germany without me knowing Micha was like, welcome to Prague! and i was like wtf, where is the Czech point?! and he was all, well, there isn’t one! #notsureif not funny or he didn’t get that. read more

It feels like i could do this forever. Traveling and working. As long as the starbucks have free wifi wtf.

Today is a work day at home, but in a different home. I cannot begin to say how lucky i feel and how grateful i am that i can do this. I cannot possibly ask for a better job. The countless people i met across the world because of this blog. Nice people who want to meet me up and show me their beautiful cities. I cannot describe how amazing this makes me feel. Actually i have no idea why i am here. But here i am.

And for the first time i don’t feel compelled to go on the internet eagerly. Actually i am surprised to find out that i was kind of even reluctant to get connected. I didn’t want to know what other people are doing on twitter, nor let people on twitter know what i do. I didn’t even want to blog (sorry). But i kind of have to now, just in case any of you are worried i’m dead.

I guess i’m just finding solace in having some time for myself and all that crap. Doing one thing at a time. Thinking one thing at a time. I thought  that’s what people do but that isn’t really. I had to fly all the way back from Singapore to catch the Pre-Launch of Neverland! It was really the most rushed day of my life T___T. After Harajuku Street Style Fashion Show at 8pm, i had to rush to the airport to catch the next flight, which was 930PM. After the whole taxi hassle and paying extra and getting stuck in traffic and almost having a heart attack, i finally arrived the airport on time.

BUT MY FLIGHT WAS DELAYED. TWICE.

Nevertheless, long story short, i still made it back to KL for Neverland!!! It was still in the heat of the moment when everyone was singing and dancing to the beats after a few rounds of free flow Carlsberg. 😛 Awesome!!! read more
