Stayed over at Cindy’s the other day and i was like

We we spent one whole day shopping in Ikea and bought sooooo many things.

Then she came by to help me with some interior thing! 😀

Been spending quite sometime making my humble little crib a dream home. Somewhere i feel really comfortable in and truly belong to. I think it’s good fengshui, ever since i moved in here i have been feeling rather at peace. And recently i kinda started to like blue tones because it makes me feel calm and tranquil. 🙂

And fiiiiiiiiiiiinally got my perfect shoerack. It was supposed to be a book shelf.

And it’s coming closer to becoming my dream home everyday.

Speaking of dream, Cindy and I both participated in Shine Project It Starts In Me contest, where we had to fill up our hot air balloon with our aspiration.

Abruptly digress.

Was competing in Nokia N96 race last weekend! VERY. TIRING.

Wa i tell you it was so untimely. My race partner KY got a sprained ankle. JUST A DAY before the race.

KY who had to limp all the way to help me with the race because i was hopeless with N96. Too compricated and canggih liao beh tahan. Mwah <3.

We had to complete certain tasks! Like, play street fighter in Sungei Wang arcade, locate the Nokia flag store in Lowyat and take pictures of certain things, then take pictures of random people who are using Nokia devices on the street (we cheated, btw) and buy a CD with the band/singer that starts with N etc what turf.

But we had a comprication.

THE SHOP WAS NOT OPENED!!!

So we had to do some other tasks first before we returned to buy the CD. It was No Doubt that we bought in Speedy. 

(Ok lame pun).

(But then so was KY that day. So it’s ok. He was so lame he had to use handicapped parking.)

Very tiring la. KY complained that i walked slower than a limping person what turf. But in the end we still completed the race!

We didn’t win la but…

Just. wow.

This whole thing is an elaborated joke.

Suddenly i have this nauseating feeling all over again. Seriously. Wow. Anymore? cuz i feel like i can take anything now. tell me my great grandmother was an amoeba and i’ll probably think it makes a lot of sense.

God my life is so full of drama. why liddat one? now that the whole plan is disrupted, i dont quite know what to expect out of this. 

Strangely

It didnt affect me much. or maybe it hasn’t hit me yet. he said he will call me later for confirmation. i hate his work.

I was happy with my PS work. Then went out for a nice dinner. Then got back home. Then he called. He said really cannot make it.

I said okay.

Part of me felt strangely relieved. Very very strange. I was like. that horrible feeling in my stomach emerged again. and got stuck on my chest. couldn’t breathe. but in a strange way it was relieving.

Suddenly i thought. i dont have to spend that 4k. and that few hundred bucks on Shinkansen. And what turf the exchange rate is reaching 4.0 it is ridiculous. and i dont have to ask help from everyone i think i was being such an annoying helpless whiney desperado for the past few days. dont need to think hard for connections to pull strings. dont have to worry about letter not getting here on time. dont have to worry about visa application kena declined (and if i bought the tic already i would be double turfed). dont have to worry about it not happening. because it is not.

Wow. that’s quite a lot of worries i had, I just realized.

I feel calm. Blessing in disguise, i think to myself. i feel strangely calm. If any consolation we would be spending Christmas together. And i secretly feel comforted by the thought of it.

But then very very little part of me just… sank.

Futon jinx.

We had visions of us walking by the river in Kyoto (but later i heard the nice place is only open in summer). Going to see yakei in Osaka (maybe drink a bit because it is very very, VERY cold). And eat pork ramen. And eat fugu (! We will die together. Very romantic). And eat Mos Burger (!!!). And steal strawberries by the roadside in Nara (he said he does that all the time). And go to see Capsule’s performance in Osaka on 26th. He said he wanted to buy the ticket to surprise me because he knows i love them. 

I couldn’t wait.

But it is not happening.

I remembered having those visions too when I was with Kelvin back then. And it just didn’t happen. When you chase something too hard it just runs away.

I don’t quite know how i should feel right now but i guess i am okay. At least i am still going to Tokyo. Just he will be in Malaysia instead. The irony is overwhelming.

I was so amazed by her post on photoshop and wonder how turf did she do that. Seriously. She’s a freak 😛

When i showed Oli Xiaxue’s post he said all the end products end up looking like herself! Then i think, it is quite true lo! If she keeps on photoshopping all the girls they will all become a variant of Xiaxues. HAHA!

I asked her why she never photoshop me (Traffic hike, What turf) and she said i don’t need it!  And she too busy to talk to me anyway so i did my own research and practiced for one whole day and these are what i came up with. And guess what? It is soooooooo easy i’m sure anyone of you can do as good. And it’s hopelessly addictive.

They are all overly photoshopped beyond recognition. Yup. That’s the whole point.

Spent a whole day last night photoshopping some pictures since everyone is catching up the Xiaxue photoshop bug. I swear it is turfing addictive. Great distraction. I posted a few in Nuffnang’s December featured blogger (omg honored!! i know right, what turf). But i think those are really badly done. Because i just had a super express crash course on Extreme Makeover photoshop whole day last night and i think i improved by at least 39823713%.

PS: Thanks for all your help. Still sorting out visa and flight ticket. TK is sending me guarantee letter from Japan today. Hopefully can get it done by next week. I would exchange my appendix for this wish to come true.

my stomach is giving me a horrible lurch and i feel my hands trembling as i type and i can’t breath something enormous and solid is stuck in my chest and i think i’m gonna throw up. i think i’m having a panic attack.

yesterday morning i was still all positive and hopeful because Visa looks like it shouldnt be a problem since i’ve got one already. and then Thomas said i have to get a return ticket in order to re-apply for new Visa. which i then found out is impossible.

A one way back to KUL from Kansai is RM4,000 minimum. i checked and checked and checked. all airlines are about the same. Minimun 4k.

This is atrocious. It is ridiculous.

as i browsed through the rates my heart sank deeper. i started panicking and i wanted to cry. this is impossible. A one way ticket from Kansai costs more than 3 times my London return ticket. I have considered taking a cheaper flight from Kansai to maybe, HK or Manila, then fly air asia back to KL. Maybe that would be cheaper. But i couldn’t seem to find anything at all maybe because i really was panicking i kept making typos and i couldn’t concentrate and couldn’t think straight and i felt like stabbing a lamb with a blunt screwdriver.

and then i talked to TK this morning and he asked me not to go to embassy today. i said i’ve got almost everything sorted out except the flight. and he said we will talk tonight. i said i can’t talk tonight i really am panicking all i wanted is to spend Christmas with him and i can’t afford to screw up a holiday i dreamt of all my life. He wanted me to think about it again. He said tomorrow is still not too late.

One after another. First he returned to Nara out of a sudden and i had quite a hard time coping with the absence and now i don’t know when he is coming back again. If i don’t make it to Osaka this time i think it will be March. And that’s a horrible, horrible thought and it was driving me insane. And then problem with my Visa. And then problem with the flight. And now i don’t even know if i should really go after all.

All i wanted is Christmas, i don’t care if we will be on Tokyo or Osaka or Nara i don’t think i am being very greedy. But it looks like it is not gonna happen because i think

was the time i woke up today.

And now it is 8.59PM. And i am stuck at home listening to Sugarless Girl feeling fidgety. I wanted to watch a dvd but i didn’t want to. I wanted to continue reading American Gods but i didn’t want to. I should feel hungry but i am not. I wanted to talk to someone but no one is around. Some are around but they seemed quite disinterested in engaging a rather bland conversation with me. (Seriously, what else can i say? “Wow so you are lifelessly at home too?”)

It’s like suddenly i don’t know what to do, and i guess that’s why i’m feeling a little sleepy now. Ok. You know what? I’m gonna take a nice shower. And after shower i’m gonna turn in. At 9pm.

And then i panicked a bit because it really looks like i’m all alone. Because no one is around. Where are you?
