Hi guys. This is an announcement, i guess. Kind of.

Apparently to get married in Japan you don’t even have to be physically present wtf. We wanted to officially register our marriage some time in July, and the kareshi was supposed to bring my passport for the registration in Japan. WITHOUT ME. Because i couldn’t be there, because i had to go to Guangzhou. -_-. Worst decision ever. But then it means had to have my passport with me all the time in Guangzhou, so the plan didn’t work.

Anyway. The night before, both of us had a normal day. He finished his work and we went for a Japanese movie called “Outrage” , which is obviously the worst movie to watch before you get married because it’s that kind of movie where in the end everybody dies. Sorry for the spoiler. I wouldn’t recommend it as the last movie to watch while you are single.

And then the movie finished about 2:45AM, and we headed towards Shibuya city hall and illegally parked outside. Since there was nobody around.

It was about 3AM in the morning and the kareshi pressed a button on the intercom and was like, “excuse me we are here to get married” (or something along the line). And then 5 seconds later a guy murmured something like congratulations and he came out to meet us with his just-out-of-bed hair rubbing his eyes. I suspect he thought that he was still in his dream.

He sat us down, we submitted the required documents, showed him our passport, he put a stamp on one of the documents and it’s all done. It took something like one minute to transform our lives forever.

Apparently the Shibuya city hall is open 24 hours to probably cater for Japanese celebrities who are too famous to be caught by anyone or people who want to wed in secret/elope.

And that’s how we got married. The celebrity way. Sort of.

Happy that i can blog about the trip since Qiu has updated like 5 million posts and i could steal pictures from her.

Thanks to Expedia, Xiaxue, QiuQiu, Aud went on a trip to Taipei and Tokyo earlier, and during one of the days in Tokyo we decided to go to Sanrio Puroland, the land of all Hello Kitties!!!

None of us have been there before and since it was almost like the whole purpose of this trip is to Hello Kitty the hell out of ourselves started with Hello Kitty cafe in taipei, then Sanrio land and flying Kitty airline. We have pretty much eat sleep (on the plane) play Kitty, now we just need to crap some Kitties.

There was this Hello Kitty art exhibition going on inside, which we had to pay 500 yen for because we stupidly bought only entrance ticket and not all-rides ticket.

I was struggling if we should go inside and i’m soooo glad that i sort of forced everyone inside because i really enjoyed it!!!

They are all painted by Yamaguchi Yuko, the third character designer of Hello Kitty.

And then i suddenly feel very very 感動 that i have actually met such an incredible talented designer. She has just become one of my favorite designers in the world.

Not only have i met her in real life, i also have her judged and praised my work now i feel like an artist wtf.

The first time i saw her i got a shock because of how she dressed and her incredibly orange hair. It was during Kawaii Of The World’s first challenge– decorating a domokun. We were pre-warned of her notorious meanness and criticism.

But she loved the Domokun i made with Amandine. T__T

It was a super fun day! For those of you who come to Tokyo (i say come because i am still here while typing this), if you have an extra day to spare, do visit Sanrio Puroland!! It’s not incredibly wow and magical and fucking amazing like Disneyland, but i am super impressed by the effort they put in during the shows, the costumes are gorrrrrrgeous. And it has, well, hello Kitty.

When it comes to dating, the only thing to do in KL is probably go for a movie, go for shopping and maybe… that’s all. In Japan there are endless of fun and romantic places to go, so when the kareshi and i are back in Malaysia, we just spend most of the time at work and resting at home.

But last week we had quite an unusual date, it started of a little romantic, after that it was all the way fun , chill and thrill, literally.

So we drove up to Genting Highland for a day trip!

I love seeing carousels, always so festive and fairy-tale like!

(was wearing thick jacket since it was quite a chilly! Probably the only place in Malaysia you get to play with autumn/winter fashion :P)

It really stands out from the rest of the restaurant in Genting, very new with bold interior!

Ordered a bubbly that is only available in duty free shops and this restaurant! The whole ambience makes it feel like a date somewhere in a western country!

To be honest i used to think that food in Genting is quite expensive and mostly mediocre, but this cafe really surprised me.

The food quality is very high, ingredients are superbly fresh and best of all, super reasonably priced. My lamb shank was like RM20+ as like many other main dishes!

After lunch it started snowing and i got caught in an igloo and froze myself into an ice cheese.

Just kidding!

Snow World is a new attraction in the indoor theme park!

It is amazing for people who have not experinced winter time before! The setting is European, you can walk on a parisian street next to an English cafe and an Italian pizza house lol

And guaranteed cold 😛

After that we also went for Motion Master in 4D!

It was super realistic and the girls inside screamed louder than people on a roller coaster -____-.

And then, outdoor theme park time!

Actually, as you saw in the video, there’s something special going on in Genting theme park.

The first time ever, they are having a horror theme for Halloween!

They have a set up for the Chinese ghost village

New freaking York.

I never thought that i’d go to USA any time soon, judging from the schedule and how much i don’t like flying long hours, and New York is exactly the second furthest place on earth from Malaysia. First one is Cheras.

But H&M is ever so generous, they decided to very last minutely flew me and another journalist from Berita Harian to NYC to attend this ledengary collaboration between Maison Martin Marigiela and H&M.

Don’t jelly BECAUSE the collection will be available in Malaysia too, starting 15th Nov. Except that i get to wear it first. And eat real NYC hot dogs.

And i thought it will probably be the most glam fashion event i’ll ever in super high class runway you see in SATC with chandeliers the size of a helicopter and 15-feet tall super models.

Mana tau it was held in a 9-storey historical building at downtown Manhattan. Abandoned historical building. FOR THE PAST 65 YEARS. Margiela being Margiela being Margiela.

Instead of 15-feet tall models gracing a runway they had art installation in each individual room.

Art needs no explanation Imma skip right to my self-shots.

So i am in Japan now! Again!

I really didn’t expect Halloween to be so widely celebrated in Japan!

So i was just walking around with the kareshi at Roppongi last night, and.

Half the population in Tokyo was dressed up in Halloween costumes LIKE IT’S A DISNEY FREAKING CITY!

I couldn’t believe what i saw and was like whoaaa and omg and sugoi all the time like i went to  Disney the first tim ==

I innocently thought there was some Disney event going on so i went and take a picture with fake Minnie then fake Mickey came along and after this picture the fake Minnie was like, “one dollar please!”

I got a shock and briefly wondered if they were kidding.

Then i took out one dollar, gave to fake Minnie and asked her to share with Mickey wtf.

I don’t think i am ever allowed to enter America ever again.

I will be going to Japan for TouchMe’s fashion show again, and believe it or not, it is Spring/Summer collection already -___- (it’s not even winter yet), which means under chilly weather i will have to dress in happy springy outfits, which also means showing more skin!

A lot of people are very shocked that i dye my hair so often and asked doesn’t that damage your hair a lot???

I used to believe that every time you dye your hair it will die a little, which is why just a year ago i always only dye maybe once every 4-5 months and just touch up the roots with the same kind of horrid faded golden orange browny tone every month or so.

So i pretty much only have about 2 weeks of good color days, and then go on and live sullenly with the shitty faded hair for the next few months.

But then i discovered that hair dye is actually not bad for your hair. Well maybe it was 5 years ago, but the new dye from Japan is crazy amazing. Apparently it is made from stuff they use for cosmetic items and is crazy expensive and it doesn’t smell, doesn’t sting your scalp, and you will not believe me when i say this but somehow, for some reason, my hair quality always gets better after a new dye :X

Also i always do magic treatment la! i am so so so happy that these Japanese people come up with new technology for hair! I always wonder how Japanese model change their hair color every two weeks wtf, summore very drastic one like from ash pink to BLACK then back to blonde wtf.

Now i know.

I am just so luck that now i know i’m in good hands under the care of Number76.

I realized that this year i have traveled like crazy but it is 90% Japan and some other Asian countries. So the Kareshi and i are planning a trip (honeymoon…?) and i was thinking we could go to Europe because he hasn’t been there before, and i’d love to explore other places i haven’t visited!

Actually one of my favorite countries in Europe is probably Italy, to be fair i have only been to Venice to judge the whole country, but i was there for merely a few days and i was blown away by their fooooooooood.

So Xiaxue, QiuQiu, Aud and i were on a trip to Taipei and Tokyo!

For Aud and i it was KL-SG-TAIPEI-TOKYO-TAIPEI-SG-KL in 8 days. It was quite crazy. And all the accommodation and flights were provided by Expedia! 

You could say that the entire trip happened because of one tweet.

We might as well call this the Blogger X Hello Kitty trip, because the entire trip revolves around it. And the whole reason why were even went to Taiwan was because of this Hello Kitty airline (initially we just wanted to spend one whole good week in Japan but goddammit Hello Kitty, Y U NO fly from KL-Japan???)

So Expedia arranged to fly us via EVA air, some of which are Hello Kitty theme and they fly only exclusively from Tapei to Tokyo (and some other newly added destination recently.)

Fast forward 4 days later after super awesome time in Japan (which i will blog about later)…

We flew back to Taipei with Hello Kitty airline!

Was at KLCC the other day for GUESS’s 30th anniversary party. Didn’t realized it has been 30 years!

It was held at KLCC concourse area, themed “30 Sexy Years”, with the appearance of supermodel Amber Chia and a string of other celebrities.

Andrea Fonseka with Nadine Ann Thomas, Kimberley Leggett among others.

This was also where GUESS unveiled their Fall/Winter 2012 Collection together with the highly anticipated limited edition Tiesto Capsule collection!

I had been quite a fan of GUESS since college days! I still remember saving up pocket money so that i could buy a pair of GUESS jeans cuz they just fit so nice, and also love their bags , watches and charms!

Also during college days i was also going through a rather vixen/sexy phase lolol so i looove their dresses with amazing silhouette and body hugging bustiers. Now i love their classic/formal apparel more, like denim and jackets/blazers.

Also did some window shopping before the event started. I think their new bag collection is pretty awesome! I used to buy a lot of outstanding designs like faux fur and snake skin from GUESS but now i’m starting to think that the simple and classy pieces are the best.

Particularly love this white tote, goes well with almost everything <3

The highlight of the event was the fashion show and i was quite dazzled by how good looking their models are and they indeed live up to the  GUESS image with their pouffy hair and curvy bodies.

On the girls, it is an assortment of on-trend prints, deep hues that is perfect for Autumn/Winter.

There are a variety of  texture in the form of silky blazers, chiffon blouses, rouched dresses, and the color ranges include bright teal and hunter green skinny jeans, plum cocktail dresses, and magenta floral printed tops and dresses. Love how they clashed textures and I want all T__T

As for guys, it is the signature vintage Americana feel, with rugged denim pieces combined with traditional plaid.
